• 15/02 - DIP and application submitted 
• 17/02 Hard credit search 
• 21/02 More soft searches 
• 01/03 - Broker advised mortgage approved subject to valuation. Valuation done a few day later and informed the application is in it's final stages and will reviewed in a few day. Still nothing as of 21/03. Every time we ask for a update we are just told it will be a few more days.........

Yes, finally received mortgage offer yesterday!

we have had the text to say an offer is on its way
Im assuming its gone to our mortgage advisor as there's nothing in our emails

Is the text and the email simultaneous?

Worryingly my credit reports aren't showing any searches? 

Hard not to over think during this wait!

It's possible that the MA is out of the office, I think you will receive the email once he's back.

Yes... It's really hard not to overthink. The valuation was completed a few days ago but no updates so far except an amendment to my quote. I am afraid there is a down valuation. Hopefully I am wrong.

@aimee_coop we had our mortgage submitted Tuesday the 15th and no update other than to ask for a P60 on Thursday. Getting worried now!
How long ago was your submitted ?

We had the same situation received a text and no email. Ask your broker to contact HSBC ask them to resend the email again - they did for us and we got it within half of them speaking to HSBC.

How long ago was your submitted ?

It all started back in mid-Feb actually, but it took me quite a long time to have all those required documents ready, so I didn't actually submit my full application until 12/3, just 3 days before you. Hopefully we will hear from them soon *fingers crossed*

Good to know it's not just us! We haven't had any real updates just been told our documents are still in the queue to be assessed! It's so nerve wracking!
