@coupon-mad thanks for your support, I think that the first time that one faces this legal framework (made on purpose so that the citizen surrenders) he/she is overwhelmed (especially if he/she has many daily commitments to attend to) however once the trauma is over, I hope to be able to help others as you do, from my short experience of course, but I hope to return the favour by helping others.

Very good!  There is no legal framework yet, but there will be a statutory regulator framework reining in cowboy parking firms within months, as the Government ahs already passed the necessary Act to enable a new Code of Practice and an unbiased single appeals service.

Hello everyone, this is my progression so far:
-I sent an email to Morrison asking them to withdraw the PCN but I have no hope that it will progress. It will only help me to know where not to go to buy again.
-SAR to the DPO at CEL sent
    -AOS submitted (24/03/2021)

-As I have no previous letters to this one that the CCBC sent me (I have verified that when I changed my address in my V5 was after the pcn, however, I thought was before but I mixed up my car with my bike, so apologies for the confusion when you asked me this question early in this chat), I do not know who are the solicitors who work for the CEL (gladstone, DC legal, BW legal ...) and so send them an email to put the case in "on hold "until you have the SAR response. Or is CEL the solicitor?
-Work ion my defence: do I start once I have had a response from the SAR?

    Thanks in advance

To be fair to Morrisons, they are the very best supermarket for cancelling PCNs - I've yet to see anyone who has complained, refused. The fact that the PPC in question here is CEL suggests strongly that Ms are not the contracting landowner (ECP are their preferred parking managers) and they may have little influence in getting your ticket cancelled. Don't burn your bridges too early.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

    You start now.

    As I wrote earlier...
...you have until 4pm on Monday 19th April 2021 to file your Defence.

    That is a fixed deadline.

In the same post I wrote...

Don't miss the deadline for filing a Defence.

Answered by @KeithP but just to let you know that the results from your SAR will be more useful to you at Witness Statement (WS) time.

@KeithP Thank you very much for your help, I will copy one of your temples and add some information according to the response of the SAR that they send me.
Because I guess I can only upload one letter for my defence ... or does it work in different stages? I dont have this point clear yet
    Thanks

You have one opportunity to file a Defence.

That's not strictly true - you can apply to the court for permission to amend a Defence once filed, but that costs £100 £255 and permission is not guaranteed.

Probably best to go for the get it right first time approach.
Start preparing it now and hone it to perfection over the next couple of weeks.

Of course you know that a Defence is not the only stage. All stages are explained in the second post of the NEWBIES thread. I gave you a link to that post last week.
