It was likely ANPR so there would have been no Windscreen Ticket.bergantet said:Thanks for the info, It seems like it's going to be a long process ... for a car park that I don't remember being there at all. And if I had been I would remember having had a fine on the windscreen ... or at least not 280 pounds1 -
Fruitcake said:You need to be able to log in to the MCOL website before you can do anything.
Everything you need to do is explained in the guide to court written by bargepole that you will find in the second post of the sticky threads fir NEWBIES.
If you can log in to MCOL, then you start by doing the AoS, but not before five days are up from the issue date of the claim form.
Then create a defence by using the template in the sticky threads. Modify paragraphs 2 and 3 to suit your case, then post just those two paragraphs here for the regulars to check.
The NEWBIES and Defence template sticky threads are just underneath eh New Thread button.Thank you very much, a very precise and very valuable information. Sorry for the delay in my response. I was on night shift and I couldn't access the computer anymore. This afternoon I will have access to the computer again. I cannot open an AoS because the password provided by ccbc does not work on their website. Would you contact them by email explaining it?
Thanks again1 -
Thanks you very much for your advice, as I said to Fruitcake, sorry for the delay in my response. I was on night shift and I couldn't access the computer anymore. It is something that I do not want to handle with the phone, since it could mix subjects or misinterpret your information, etc ... on the computer I can see different screens at the same time and with more time to process all the information.KeithP said:bergantet said:
Thanks, the date in the claim says 15 March 2021KeithP said:Sounds very much like you have a Claim Form from the County Court Business Centre.
What is the Issue Date on your Claim Form?
I don't know what 'the date in the claim' means, but I am going to assume that is the Issue Date as stated on the Claim Form. With a Claim Issue Date of 15th March, you have until Monday 5th April to file an Acknowledgment of Service. If possible, do not file an AoS before 21st March, but otherwise, there is nothing to be gained by delaying it.To file an AoS, follow the guidance in the Dropbox file linked from the second post in the NEWBIES thread.Having filed an AoS in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Monday 19th April 2021 to file your Defence. That's over four weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute. To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look again at the second post on the NEWBIES thread - immediately following where you found the Acknowledgment of Service instructions.Don't miss the deadline for filing an Acknowledgment of Service, nor that for filing a Defence.
What do you think about that I cannot open an AoS because the password provided by ccbc does not work on their website? Would you contact them by email explaining it?
Thanks in advance0 -
all of this if new for me. Also, I don't know nothing about the GPDR law....
Then why not google it? Severalm hours reading and you could be an expert. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.1 -
It may be quicker to post the AOS form provided in the claim pack if the password on the right hand side of the claim form does not work
I would also fill it in , scan it , then add as a picture attachment and email it to the ccbcaq email address with a note stating you are emailing it due to the provided MCOL password not working so you cannot login and do it online. If you can download a PDF AOS form , fill that in and email it instead , no scanning required
But try edge or chrome or Firefox or opera browsers first , in case it's a pdf or browser issue , emailing and posting as a last resort3 -
ALso double check you have logged in with a gateway ID first.4
