  • Haribo I can honestly promise you that the number of ***s was purely accidental:D I didn't have any word in mind. But I find it hilarious you've spent time trying to work out what it stood for:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:It's just coincidence it equates to Snowy's new pet term for you;)

Now my pet term for you is .......... nah I'll leave you in the dark:rotfl:

Are you calling me paranoid??

    Hi again

HJ - He's not after a PS3 is he?? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
CM - M&S - can never bring myself to pay their food prices - goes against the gain, would have fish and chips first, Hope you enjoyed it though.
AL - What are you expecting from Santa;)
Pen-Pin - If they are all working and not strapped for cash they won't worry about it, so enjoy their generosity.
pipkin - I may have missed this, but has Mum said why she is so unhappy?

A bit achy now, from the tasks today, but feel better knowing we are now on top of the job and DH has agreed to keep going on the walls and get a coat of emulsion on first, so it is only touching up once the units/floor are fitted. (He said we should wait until done but I know it will be too near Xmas) Kitchen also ready for final touches. Just need to confirm the units have arrived and when builder is coming. For me after friends go home after lunch I have a mountain of ironing to start, and the back bedroom to find a home for what else we have not yet put away and make it look like it belongs to our house. He has enjoyed the male company while doing the tasks, I think he is missing work (for the male company) more than I am which is strange as normally it would be the other way round.:confused:

Have to get straight as away in the 'van next weekend:eek: , and for New Year. Then off to Spain on the 3rd Jan. Hard work all this holidaying.:rotfl: :rotfl:

    Hi DG

She says it's all Dad's fault, and perhaps some of it is, I'm not there all the time, but I've been there at times when dad has made an innocent comment and mom has flipped.

She's gone through the menopause, so I didn't think it could be that, but perhaps someone here would know more about how long the menopause affects you.

She's also recently been diagnosed as diabetic so I don't know if that is affecting her. I know she's also worried about my health and the fact that I am on my own with the girls, plus she wants us to move back home. It's probably a whole heap of things.

I've bought mom a nice gift to try and cheer her up, and let her know how loved she is, but I'm worried that I wont be able to lift her from where she's at right now.

    Pipkin xxxx

We did enjoy our meals DG:D You must have cheap fish and chips where you live, because for me it's cheaper to do M&S readymeal:eek: ( And not just by a few pence!!) Fish and chips is for when we are pushing the boat out:rotfl:

exoh turned up at 9 - just enough time to see dd for an hour before bed and is showing no signs of going anywhere so I guess he's staying the night - oh dear I have washed all the spare room bedding and it's still wet - slipped my mind to do it earlier. Turned up with a bottle of self-wine (red eeeeeew) and fish and chips (yay). I am now being subtly annoying by watching stuff i know he hates on MY telly. He is waiting to listen to the fight this am as am I and itching to get his hands on the remote - I may put evita on in a bit which he can't stand. Oh dear life is so hard for a man on three grand a month who can't get his act together.

    Hi Pipkin

Mmmmmm, how old is Mum? The Menopause can last quite a while, I take the tablets and my doctor said it was 10-15 years I would need to take them.

You don't think she could be using this as a little blackmail to persuade you and the girls to move back?

As for blaming Dad, have you asked why it is his fault?

She may be feeling totally frustrated with the restrictions diabetes will make to her diet, I know my Mum got it around 80, and said, here I am at this stage of my life don't care about my figure and can't have a cream bun or a bar of chocolateif I want one!

((hugs)) hope you can get to the bottom of it tomorrow.
