Fab news! I wonder which one of us will have moved first? I feel like ours has just stopped progressing at the moment
Lots of luck

Well, our solicitors have an online portal so we can see what's been done and what we are waiting for, the last search came back earlier than expected which was good but there's that waitingg game now where everyone else in the chain has to get their searches back before we can exchange
Hope you're not in a large chain and it goes relatively quickly

LMD xThe chain doesn’t seem too bad so far, our buyers haven’t got anything to sell and the people we’re buying from are cash buyers.Credit Card 1 £9602.23 £0

survey done on our place and solicitors paperwork completed and returned, now expecting things to go quiet for a bit. £250 gone from the moving fund for the solicitors cash on account, it felt good taking it from a pot of money we’d set aside for that purpose!Credit Card 1 £9602.23 £0

Payday!
Another good month budget wise with £50 left over that I've added to the move savings for this month so £500 going into that pot today, another £350 to be added on OHs payday.
Forgot to mention last week that we had to dip into our emergency fund as our 6 year old washing machine finally gave up the ghost. It was good to have that pot to dip into, I previously would've used the CC/overdraft if something like this happened. Got a new one ordered that was delivered and installed at the weekend - I would've done it myself but you had to book installation for them to take away the old one!
Things feel quite hectic around the house move at the moment, we've paid the solicitors their cash on account and for the valuation survey for the property we're buying and had our place surveyed on Monday, expecting things to calm down now as the solicitors do their thing.
We've got a good pot of money to support the move that we'll be adding to each month prior to getting a moving date so optimistic we'll be able to move without having to use any credit (other than mortgage!)Credit Card 1 £9602.23 £0
