Chances are a good number of popular countries will introduce some some of vaccine passport.
A good proportion of the population won’t be fully vaccinated by June 21st
Any booking abroad this year is imo a risky decision and needs to considered very carefully with contingencies thought about well In advance and appropriate insurance taken0 -
I personally wouldn't be booking myself until it is over.

Hi @IvanOpinion my cruise has just been postponed until August. I am very relieved! Although I will continue to monitor the situation closely.0

Well our May trip to Gran Canaria has now been cancelled ,shame as we have had both jabs and i know that anybody can catch and spread Covid but we live in hope of a holiday in the sun sometime.0

Still no plans for any overseas travel for this year but I have booked a couple of hotel stays in the UK for July and August.
It would be nice to get away somewhere warm during the winter but there is so little availability in the schedules now that prices are very high. However, I'm sure that once restrictions are lifted across Europe then airlines will be adding extra services and prices will come down.0 -
I agree with this as on most posts in this forum people are saying that they do not intend to travel abroad this year.Doshwaster said:Still no plans for any overseas travel for this year but I have booked a couple of hotel stays in the UK for July and August.

Quite understandable that people are apprehensive now but if the likes of France, Spain and Italy can get the vaccination programmes sorted out and cases are under control here and across Europe then the airlines, hotel and package holiday companies will be desperate to get people travelling again so there will sure be lots of offers to tempt people back, though I suspect it will be another year before longer haul opens up again.Ganga said:

Plus once Covid has been overcome you can bet holiday prices will go through the roof in the short term as people will have last years and this years holiday money to spend and will be desperate for some sunshineDoshwaster said:

Booked Vegas end of May,(I can go because I'm US citizen) cruise around the UK June, Caribbean cruise December. Will defo be booking something for Portugal for July once we see if they let us in.The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0
