In the hope that it is doable (fingers crossed) we have just booked a little jolly to Greece in September.
Is anyone else booking or are you waiting until next year?

I don't care about your first world problems; I have enough of my own!

If you can not go in September we are in trouble ,i think a lot of people will be getting away in May, June etc.IvanOpinion said:In the hope that it is doable (fingers crossed) we have just booked a little jolly to Greece in September.

We are leaving it till next year on the assumption that most euro countries will still be lagging behind the UK so this year its a log cabin in Scotland with granddaughter in August. We want to go on holiday without the need of constantly being aware of distance in bar/restaurant/beach/pool etc0

I considered for September but am holding fire at the moment. I don’t want to get somewhere then find there’s very little open. I want to visit places, not just sit on a beach. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
Not going to book until things are a bit clearer don't fancy paying for tests both ways then isolating when i get home. Had three holidays cancelled last year. Got a week in devon for july so wait and see for abroad.1

Got a UK short break in September but not even attempting an overseas trip until 2022.0

I'm supposed to be going to Spain in June & am not holding my breath for that one. Got a trip to the US west coast in September so really got my fingers crossed for that one.0

We already have a Greece holiday booked for mid June, deferred from 2020.We would usually be planning for another holiday to Greece or Turkey late August and further afield (Far East) before Christmas. We really don't know if the June holiday will go ahead and if we didn't have it already booked, I would not even be considering booking anything departing before the last quarter of the year. And I'd be waiting to see how the 'route out of lockdown' plan works over the next 2 months.0

It's all well and good booking because our restrictions have eased but what about the country that you are visiting? Have you ascertained what is happening there or their planned lockdown easement?2

We cancelled our last August holiday last year (walked away from our £60 pp deposit) even though it looked like it would go ahead (and it did) as we knew it wouldn't be the same holiday that we expected when we booked (late 2019).We didn't want not to be able to eat in the places we wanted because they'd taken half the tables away to enable social distancing.I didn't want to wait until somebody got out of the pool before I could get in.We wanted to be able to get on local buses and go on boat trips. That may be a distant dream but until we know more about what the world will look like I'll be sat in my garden drinking G&Ts and mango lassis.2
