That is because the difference is all the spurious charges , a well known SC*m !! So what castle told you is probably on the money

It is ALWAYS worth trying to get the landowner to get PCN s cancelled and never too late , no need to ask us , just do

This is plan A in the newbies thread

Use the full balance of £80 per pcn , not the time sensitive reduced offer of £40 that wasn't paid. They will have usually inflated each one by at least £60 to say £140 per pcn , not allowed !!

I do not believe your CCTV assertions , it's normally ANPR cameras but could be MNPR instead , rarely if ever are they CCTV

POFA defines keeper liability but never assists a known Driver , if a PCN complies with POFA , in wording and dates , then a keeper can be liable , if it fails POFA then the Driver only is liable
Sorry didn't know what they were called but Yes it is ANPR Camera.

I have just contacted my University and they have instructed me to call them back on Monday. Anything specific I should state for them to take action asap?
    Thanks

Only you know your own case , if you have valid reasons why they should be cancelled , then say so , because at some point you will need to justify why your vehicle was on private property !!  To somebody , be it the university on Monday or a judge later this year , so take responsibility for it being your vehicle , decide on what grounds it was there , decide which of those PCN s should not have been issued and say so , that is why they should be cancelled , if that is the case

When each PCN arrived , at £80 discounted to £40 , you decided not to pay it , think of why that was your decision on each of 7 occasions

    This is not difficult !!

Ask them to cancel the PCNs giving a reason why they should not have been issued by an unregulated parking scammer in the first place (other descriptions are available, but that's the one our MPs have used).
You want to do this in writing as you may have to give them all the PCN numbers, VRMs, and dates, so if if you call someone, get their name and email address so you can follow up your chat.
A 'phone call is not worth the paper upon which it is writ.

I have just called the University and spoke to someone that manages the parking side of things there. They have just told me they cannot do anything about it even though I've explained everything clearly that they're Unregulated Parking Companies that keep sending threatening letter with added costs for no reason. The lady just told me to speak to FirstParking (Useless)  but I've managed to get details of the Chancellor at University so I'm going to email him and see what he could do regarding the situation.
She's also told me the signages are checked by the British Parking Association every year idk if that could help but I knew she didn't have a clue on what to say. Lost people. There's only a few signages not even visible to drivers all written in tiny fonts.

By all means Keep on at that university

But you need to seriously think about what I said regarding why you decided that your vehicle was authorised to be on site , plus why you believe the PCN s are not your problem , or never were

At some point you will be asked for your reasons why you are not liable , why the vehicle was parked , what authority was in place

If I received a PCN or three then I would decide if they are unfair , why I have no legal liability and how I could persuade popla or a judge to chuck them out. If I don't have a case , I have to try plan A or possibly pay the least amount possible , if bang to rights

So sometimes a win is out of the question and damage limitation is required

This isn't going away , so treat it extremely seriously

    Thank you for your help.

I’m going to e-mail the Chancellor tomorrow by stating why it’s unfair for students to be receiving things like this and also my explanations too.
Anything I should include to make the e-mail ‘dramatic’ that could make them take actions straightaway? Since they’re probably on the whole ‘money making’ side too.
