    Hi,
Just gotten a reply from DCB Legal:
We write in response to your email dated 25th February 2021. Thank you for providing your details for data protection.

DCB Legal Ltd note that you state that you deny the debt and are seeking debt advice and request the case be put on hold.

We have placed a hold on your account for 30 days by which time payment of the full outstanding balance of £700.00 is due to prevent legal proceedings being issued against you, as per the Letter of Claim.

Payment can be made via bank transfer to our designated client account: -

Account Name: DCB Legal Ltd Client Account

    Sort Code: 20-24-09

    Account Number: 60964441

You must quote the correct case reference (beginning ‘10’) when making payment. If you do not, we may be unable to correctly allocate the payment. If further action is taken by us as a result of an incorrect reference being quoted, you will be liable for any further fees or costs incurred.

Now, I don’t quite understand what they’re trying to say. Can someone explain please.

    Thank you

They're saying that after the 30-day delay for you to receive debt advice, they expect you to cough up. But I presume you're going to defend should they issue court proceedings?  Don't forget, it's only a Judge who can instruct you to pay. That 'gift' does not rest with DCB Legal.
Thanks for your reply. So now I have to wait for ‘First Parking Llp’ to reply and see what they say right?

Yes , you are gathering your evidence in anticipation of a court claim , plus to clarify where the individual charges add up to the figures demanded , thereby exposing the spurious double recovery charges added on

But please don't come back when you get the SAR images and ask what the 'next step' is. Spare us that one.  Drives us mad.

Please...it's obvious what your SAR is for - images and data to help you see their hand, to assist you to defend the inevitable court claim with some knowledge.  There is no 'next step' (I hate that phrase; we are not teaching kids to walk) and clearly the claim will come in its own time and you have plenty of time to read the NEWBIES thread and know what it all looks like and what to do.

    Hi,

Still no reply from First Parking. How long do they usually take because it should only really take them a few minutes to gather information about me on their database. Matter of just typing my name or reg into their databases, seems like they love to drag it out.

    Thank you

They have 30 days. You know they have 30 days. Asking for "how long" is pointless, because they are asllowed to take 30 days.
Plan for 30 days, is the obvious route to take

Responding to you will not earn them a penny, why do you think they should afford you any kind of priority?  Of course they love to drag it out, it gets people anxious and agitated ...... and they've succeeded ......... again.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

    Hello,
    Finally got a reply from First Parking Llp and it seems like they actually love to drag it out. This is what I received;

    ‘Good afternoon

Please find attached the requested data which has been protected. For the password, please confirm receipt of this email.

The photographic evidence can also be reviewed at www.paymyparking.net

    Kind regards,

    Administration Assistant’

Why would they put a password on the file when they’ve already confirmed my identity? Is this company run by little kids, anyways I will confirm the receipt of their email and see what’s in the attached file.

    Thanks
