Read the NEWBIES THREAD, please. I know you've won a case before but you said:
I've read through the 'Newbies Thread' so should I ignore this or send them an email? If I should send an email, what should I state?
You state what the NEWBIES thread already tells you to state, and it isn't a stupid rebuttal or asking for a daft breakdown.

AFAIAA  there are none   What we suggest is that you write a letter asking them to break down the £700,  How hard is that!
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

    Thank you.

I have just sent an email to both parking company as stated in the newbies thread asking for all details they hold about me and also a breakdown of all figures.
Sent an email to their solicitors (DCB) stating that I have contacted their client for an SAR and that the case must be put 'on hold' for not less than 30 days under the PAP for debt claims 2017.

What usually happens next? Do they reply? Do they cancel it? Am I definitely going to have to go to county court?

    Thank you

    Do they reply?
    Yes.

    Do they cancel it?
No, they'll want to try to intimidate you with a court claim.  But sometimes they discontinue claims before a hearing.

Am I definitely going to have to go to county court?
Yes and no, not in person. Likely to be by phone but you can find that out by reading any court claim threads you find when you search ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST.

Did you tell them that you are 'seeking debt advice' so that they put it on hold?  If you haven't, they probably won't. There's no requirement on them to place on hold just for you to receive a response to a SAR. The '30 days' in each case are totally unconnected.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Yes I have stated that I am 'seeking debt advice' in the solicitors (DCB) email as states in the Newbies Thread.
  • Hi,

I've just gotten a reply from First Parking LLP and they're asking for 'PCN Numbers and Vehicle Registration to locate the details'. Do I provide them with that?
I've received 2 tickets with 2 different registration as I've said one was my private reg and the other one was my factory reg, both same cars.

    Thank you

What identity did you provide them in your SAR request?

It depends on how awkward and belligerent you want to be.
They "should" be able to find all your personal data from your name and address and proof of ID. We are not sure if they are being awkward and belligerent by demanding more information, or whether they have such a crap database and crap search facility that they cannot search for it without the info they have requested.

It is actually personal data they already hold, so I see no real advantage in not supplying it. You could still complain to the ICO that they have asked you to provide them with more personal data than what you have already provided in order to supply personal data about you.

Provided full address and full name including my mobile number. That should be enough for it isn't it? I don't understand why they're longing out the process.
