Morning all. I've been up since 6.30 packing an throwing away stuff. I've found stuff that I had thought I had lost..added bonus. Still a long way to go. I've even got a gap where some carpe was, so will have to rearrange so that the little table that the printer will fit in there.Hung the washing outside on the whirly gig so that is happily drying away, fingers crossed it dries 😁 Had a chat with neighbour over the 6ft fence..think he was shocked to hear me up and about.. lolHave to take boxes down to the storage place later, collect some eggs, pick up the nice bread from Morrisons that Dave likes..oh and hoover..lolIt's only 9.30ish and I'm shattered. Amazing what you can do when DH is asleep and not annoying me..😃Mortgage Free as of 20.9.17Declutter challenge 2023, 2024 🏅 🏅⭐️⭐️

Morning all
Pigpen that is some dream, fun to think about.
Valli to be on top of things is one thing to be ahead is awesome.
Can't remember anymore...
Was going to clean the shower but youngest S has just been in and I want it dry to spray the stuff on so that will wait until tomorrow now. Not doing bad with my list. Updated for now. Pilates done. Last bit of filling done. I cleaned the kitchen radiator yesterday and realised I never do that so over the course of the day I intend to wipe them all and turn them back down after they were on full blast when it was freezing last week. I've turned the boiler back down this morning.
Right shower and then paid stuff for a bit.

My rads have a corrugated middle. A few years ago I bought a radiator brush from L@keland. Well. That was horrific. I do them at least annually now.
Up early as mate coming to help with jalopy. Couldn't find V5 or MOT. They were in pending drawer so now in right pocket. I have all DS's vehicle stuff.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Yesterday I managed the 30 minutes dusting that needed doing. So far only two radiators have the attention of the special brush and they were truly awfulm - more will be done next week, the priority was the sitting room really needed dusting. All my filing is now up to date, I sorted three drawers, one of which used to be opened several times a week because it has the theatre digs booking chart in it. I'd forgotten about it completely - I normally draw up the next year's one in about August. I did it yesterday in the hope that theatres will be open by panto season at the latest. Anything earlier will be a fantastic, delightful bonus. I also sewed a weight back on to a curtain because the weight has been annoying me for weeks and I unearthed a threaded needle where I wasn't expecting to find it.Mid-afternoon I thought, 'What can I do to help with this mess?' and realised it was time to start working my way through my In Tray again. One job done, another will be done in a less time-consuming way and that's real progress at last. There are some really good bits of decluttering advice that I'm finding very helpful at the moment, one of which is, 'If I wanted this, where would I expect to find it?' It then gets trotted straight there so there isn't a mountain of stuff to put away after the space has been sorted out, and as long as it can be crammed in it really doesn't matter how disorganised that secondary space is. It'll wait until another day. This morning I've ditched 30 more photographs, and 30 bits of paper. What I've found so far is that once I got up to the day's necessary total I just carry on with the file until it's completely filleted. There was quite a bit for shredding (done) and I'm now chopping up all the scrap that's been collecting for notes. I use a huge amount of scrap paper so none of it's wasted but it's obviously been quite a while since I tackled this pile so I want to finish it. I am now seeing signs of real progress simply because I'm not expecting too much of myself every day, I'm not creating a mess while I'm doing it .Better is good enough.8

Morning ladies, been reading along just not posting, managed to block my WM filter with a colour catcher sheet, mini kitchen flood aside its all sorted now. Pigpen and anyone else with battery issues, i highly recommend one of these battery starters i own one similar and it has started our car with no issues when needed, well worth the money. Blimey you are all very busy again, well done.I have been outside, planted 50 primroses, 400 snowdrops, 3 hyacinths (these were in the kitchen but have flowered) these have gone in, when there are gaps in the beech hedge I planted. The cat came and helped.I then climbed over the fence into the field with my large bucket, and did a litter pick along the fence and about 5m in, got loads of kids toys / debris / plastic out, as I could see it, now the grass have died back. Said rubbish now in wheelie bin.Kitchen is doneChicken out defrosting to make curry tonight OH is working away from home next week, we have been together every day, (I think) since the move and lock down, I am going to feel a bit lost. The mole is back digging the front garden up!Keep at it ladies all this sorting/ shredding / home schooling is going great.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Afternoon.
I had a very slow start this morning. Have done the dailies and been food shopping - only to the greengrocer's and MrAl, but it took me ages. All the shopping has been put away, soup made and eaten, and I have a cup of coffee. It's grey, damp and miserable, and I have no energy to go out, but if I sit in front of the computer I am likely to fall asleep, so I might as well sit on the sofa and be more comfortable. Don't quite know where my GUAG has disappeared to, but it's definitely gone away somewhere for half term. Hey-ho.7 -
