Oops I Did It Again

Poor, poor kitty 😁
one of mine sleeps on my head and one likes to spoon under the covers while I’m reading, but buggers off if I turn over to go to sleep. He’s very cuddly, but he does cause some issues…firstly I have to read between his ears and secondly he likes to stretch out and turn the pages over 🙄
I’m a lazy person too and was impressed the washing made it to the bed!

Good morning. I've been out in the garden trimming leaves off the tomato plants and deadheading the roses. NSD today - the HT has gone to college and has his own bank card and a packed lunch so that's my bit done. My best friend is coming to have lunch and it will be something out of the freezer for dinner for the HT and I. 

I was woken up by a thunder storm at 4:30am this morning so I thought it would be cooler today.  It is, but not by much. I still have the fan on so the cat has gone to sleep on the HT's bed where the fan is switched off and to wait for the HT to come home. She's not a fan of him being absent for long periods of time.

Thanks @WinterWarrior, lunch was just sandwiches (made by me), crisps and fruit. He's not been well this week so he took the apple and blackberry crumble home with him for later. 

We had another thunder storm about an hour ago. The cat is not happy that the weather is broken. She was yelling from outside while friend was here and when I went to see what the problem was, it was because it was raining through the canvas roof of her swing seat (she likes a nice swing now and then). She wasn't a bit happy 🤣🤣🤣

My cat takes up residence in the greenhouse when the weather is cooler. It’s been too hot in there recently so she’s been sleeping under bushes. She loves being in the garden. She also loves to sleep on Mr SA’s scooter under the cover. Aren’t they funny creatures 🤣

So sweet. Mine are house cats, but love to complain loudly about random things.
SA your cat would be truly cooking in a greenhouse.

@CRANKY40 I can't believe you're lazy! You're always working, baking or gardening. I on the other hand am the epitome of lazy. Although I did manage two hours of ironing last night after spending a good week staring at clean clothes jumbled on the sofa. Ironed clothes have made it up to bedrooms but not put away 🤣. No cats to jump on it though.

@Naomim the best way to be lazy is to be organized.... it's a lot less work in the long run. Neccessary spend day today - grocery shopping. All done and if it's not in this house it can be done without until next week.

Good morning all. It's a work day for me today. I'll be taking LAP out for a walk soon as it's not raining here thank goodness. It's been a bit damp for the last few days. NSD today as all meals for LAP, HT, HT's partner and the maid (me) are planned and will be from the cupboards, fridge and freezer. 

The HT woke up with a nightmare at 4:30 so we came downstairs for a cuppa then went back to bed for a couple of hours. I think I'm going to feel it a bit later on. An early night could be on the cards for me. The cat was absolutely delighted to be fed at 4:30 and is taking her nap now to make up for us keeping her awake. 

Today will also be a planning day for tomorrow - the cake tins are empty, the biscuit box not far behind and I need to make some fruit crumbles for lunch with best friend next week. He seems to think that apple and rhubarb will be OK. I'm not so sure so any thoughts on that anyone?

Not sure…bbc food have rhubarb and apple muffins. Normally rhubarb crumble is just that, or occasionally with ginger (which I’m not a fan of). Do one apple and one rhubarb then he can mix it if he wants?
