That’s a decent deduction in a month, the fact you had an expensive month makes it even better. You should be pleased with that achievement 👏I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Thanks for the moral support everyone 😊 Back to it now for September. I worked straight through until 11pm last night with my looked after person. My usual shift at home but then an extra 5 or so hours at weekend rate at his house while his mum and dad went out. I'll pay tax on it obviously but it's still extra.
I took my laptop and discovered that he is happy using youtube and a mouse to click on his favourite videos so he had a lovely time. I managed to watch one poncho making video before my laptop was abducted so I've made a start on one (crochet) as I managed to finish the wave blanket (also crochet) that the HT's partner has asked for as a Christmas present. I've bought a tub of heroes for the rest of partner's present - total chocoholic there so that should be the perfect thing to go with the blanket.
LAP and I went blackberry picking yesterday. It's not his favourite occupation - he tends to just stand there moaning "I'm waiting", lol but I have enough to make some more apple and blackberry crumbles. The apples came via my best friend who acquired them from a family member's garden. Free food is good.
Despite being last home and to bed last night I am first up and I've already watered the garden. The cat is in a snit because I won't let her go upstairs to wake the others up. She does like a nice snuggle in bed but she expands tp fill the available space then makes you move over by poking with claws so she's not a popular bed mate 😄2 -
I can’t imagine being poked with claws is a pleasant experience 😂
csn you share the shawl video? I like to crochet when I’ve got time and I’m needing a project to use up my excess yarn! XSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

@Willowtree222 I found three videos that helped. Two were for ponchos and one was for a shawl which I'm going to have a go at when I have time....

I've used the neck idea from the second one because I liked it better but with the number of stitches and then the starter rows from the first one.
The shawl that I fancy making is this

NSD today because I'm about to be too busy to spend anything. HT dropped at college, HT's partner dropped at bus station and eBay parcel posted on the way home. Dinner out of freezer to defrost. All good so far. Next I have to make the HT a sandwich and leave it in the fridge, collect him from college, drop him off at home then go and work in the cafe for a couple of hours (it's money coming in so all good even though I'm going to be tired). After the cafe I can come home, change my t-shirt and go to collect my looked after person.
I'm not sure if LAP is having dinner with us tonight but it's in the fridge if he is and can go in the freezer if he isn't (pizza).
Yesterday I felt the need to put all the yarn from various hidey holes in the house all together in my bedroom so I could sort it. I won't have time to do it today but tomorrow is looking good. In the meantime, there isn't much space to move. Looking at it still makes me happy though, even if it is in the way 🤣🤣🤣3 -

Several problems....the first was that I wasn't under the covers because it was too hot and secondly I refuse to share a bed with her anyway because she slithers into her allotted space then pokes with her claws until she has the amount of space that she thinks that she needs and she has moved the annoying hooman out of her way. I only wanted a quick nap. Cat was evicted and I managed half an hour of peace and quiet before anyone else wanted me.
As I am a lazy person (and I've been out working in the cafe today) the clean washing is still in the middle of my bed and my conscience won't let her sleep on the HT's t shirt again without me just giving in and putting it back in the wash, The HT has been in since lunch time so she has a choice of his bed or her own bed with heated mat.
