Thanks @Seasidegal58 he's feelng a bit better now that he has a day and a half of antibiotics in him.
As today is a spending day thanks to the HT's throat, I've just bitten the bullet and ordered 2 new t-shirts from M&S. Nothing fancy, plain black as they're uniform if my boss is short staffed in the cafe and I need to cover. The ones that I have are starting to look a bit old and tatty and I know I'll be annoyed if I make the effort to go to the shop and they don't have what I want. Besides, the closest collection point for free delivery is a food shop so no danger of any clothes that I don't actually need coming home with me.1 -
Happy new tshirts
I ordered one at the weekend too.

Mr SA’s hay fever is really bad at the moment, it’s grass pollen season apparently. I can sympathise with the HT as I suffered with tonsillitis a lot when I was young. It got to the point where they started getting infected and I was put on the waiting list for removal. Once I hit my 30s they suddenly stopped troubling me so never did have them out.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

@Sun_Addict I totally sympathise with Mr SA. I'm asthmatic too so if I'm not careful it will trigger that. The HT is much recovered this evening - it's just a pity that you have to be half dead to get antibotics these days. I can honestly see why doctors are so cautious but it's still frustrating1

It's handy using m and s food hall tor order collection and return. My main temptation in there is Percy pig and/or iced and spiced buns both of which are strategically positioned by the order collection desk.1

Luckily for me, I don't like Percy Pigs. I do like the iced and spiced buns but it's the last week of a 5 week month next Monday so the budget for treats is zero!1

Good morning. Just having a quick coffee before I go and do a bit of housework. I'm going out with my best friend today after we've had lunch here, hence the need to have a quick burst of cleaning. I was supposed to do it yesterday but I had a migraine so gave myself some time off instead before I had to work. We're going theoretical plant shopping. Theoretical because his garden isn't ready yet and mine is quite full but we like to imagine what we could have if we didn't have a budget to stick to.
I cashed out some survey money this morning, added 35p to it and paid another £10 off my loan so that's another £4 interest saved. All credit card debt is now 0% and will be paid off before the 0% deal finishes. I would never have thought of doing that if I hadn't read other people's diaries here so thank you all. The cost for balance transfer was less than I expected too. £62.50 total and I will save more than that in interest in the first 3 months.4
