Good evening. I'm working late tonight - the person who usually has the looked after person on a Thursday evening is self isolating from yesterday. It wouldn't normally matter but LAP's parents had booked to go out so I said that I'd cover. It's a bit extra towards the payments when all's said and done. I won't get paid the extra until the end of July because my time sheet has already gone in for this month but it doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. I'm going to assume that this will be the last unexpected income for this week. It would be a bit unbelievable if it carried on.
In other news the HT's partner is back this evening so that meant a trip to the supermarket, sigh. I promised lasagne but then the HT wanted pizza and there wasn't any in the freezer so I bought pizza for the HT, a ready lasagne for his partner and fish fingers for the LAP. I'll get the money for LAP's dinner back in cash at the weekend. If I hadn't been working I would have just made the lasagne and the three of us would have eaten it. I'll make it at the weekend instead and put it in the freezer in portions. I also bought cat food because it was on offer, bread that I forgot to buy earlier in the week, eggs and more fruit.
It's really strange sitting in someone else's house. It feels like when I used to babysit as a teenager.2 -
Well done on the financial wins last week! I think we're all having a weird week but as long as we take the good out of it. Although I do wish I can win more than a fiver on the lottery though - been dreaming of that "dream come true" money lol.2

I still need to get that scratchcard
Looking forward to seeing what you're going to win today01.12.2020 - CC £16,839 / Loan £18,820 / EF £0
03.07.2023 - CC (0%) £9,859 / Loan £0 / Savings £10,1100 -
Good morning. @jokono ha ha, no win today. I did cash out some survey money though and I paid £10 off my loan balance. Now that the card balance will be paid off in 20 months on 0%, any extra survey money will go to my loan which is still interest bearing. That will mean about £4 in interest saved (I won't have the exact figure until Monday) and I'm happy wth that. It fnishes off the week quite nicely.3

Lovely, it’s so satisfying seeing the interest saved! It’s like averting a robbery 😁Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien
