Received GNE credit into my EDF account today, phoned up to get it refunded but they refused until yearly review next March, think this is completely unacceptable.0

@manic37 I'm also on this sorrowful transfer saga. I had a review of DD in June - downwards which actually increased the amount I would be owing at the end of September. I've made one extra credit and will need a second by September to enable me to jump ship easily.
My online account says I am due another review in September.Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0 -
After several cups of strong coffee, I've realised that my post of 20 July was wrong: I was looking at a (slightly) revised GNE closing statement which didn't explicitly show the DDs GNE had taken. They did appear on their previous version. Sorry! Meanwhile, EdF are on about their fourth attempt to send me their first bill.1

Does anyone know whether we will ever receive a final bill from GNE?
Where did the credit balance go?
When will EDF send a bill?0 -
I have received via email a final bill from GNE.
(Here’s your closing account statement from Green Network Energy in Administration 1… And a little note from EDF)
It shows GNE Family Green 2 Year Fixed up to 31st January 2021 and then Welcome GNE Variable V1 DD (31 Jan 2021 - 18 Apr 2021).
I have also had my first bill from EDF 19th April to 16th July 2021.

my guess is the administrators are almost certainly prioritising final bills that are NOT in credit
my transfer to EDF happened very late i.e. end of june but I had my final (non credit) GNE bill just 3 weeks later
they will try to hold onto peoples money for as long as possible0 -

EDF are not be aSupplier of Last Resort but a Company of Last Resort.
EDF Customer Service in are very be poor but I'm not as be bad in as Scottish Power.
I am have to a complaint that is 7 months old and still ongoing. I have a named point of contact and we are on first name terms!! Every time she tries to get in something done someone else in EDF messes it up
Have already in started the move to a new fixed rate 25 month in deal only marginally dearer than EDF.
EDF can wait for any money owed until they sort out the complaint.0 -
