Is anyone else still waiting to hear from EF? I've heard nothing so far.

Its broken down in to two sections on a per fuel basis.
Until January 31 you are billed on your GNE tariff. From Feb 1, when EDF took over, you are billed on your EDF tariff.
If you did not supply a reading on January 31 then this is estimated. If you want to give a more accurate one then you can call EDF up and they will adjust it for you.
Any balance, credit or debit, showing on the final bill then transfers over to your EDF account.0 -

I got nothing specific until May 5 when I got my account number DD and Tariff detail. Since then I have heard nothing but the website has progressed as far as my account is concerned.
@powerful_Rogue Have you got an account number, looked on the website ?????//Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0 -

I've had my closing GNE statement and the balance is almost £800 in debit whereas my last bill in December was in credit. Looking at the closing GNE statement the pages of Gas calculations show 4 years of ESTIMATE readings, with no actual readings which I have on every single statement from GNE since 2017. What's worse is the final reading is an estimate for the gas meter that was exchanged for Smart meter in Jan, and isn't even on their closing statement. So the closing calculation being passed to EDF is very wrong indeed and based on a meter that no longer exists.
I've contacted EDF and GNE administrators team but I was already told they had limited ability to make changes? I get the feeling they can recalculate the closing bill to pass on to EDF, on whatever basis they like (wrong in my case), and I'll just have to accept the bill for the large debit with EDF. This feels very unfair indeed, and there doesn't seem to be a formal way to challenge these closing statements. I have every PDF invoice and pictures of the meeting readings at the day of the exchange. Is there anything else I should be doing or where I can escalate this?0 -

The closing statement issued by GNE (in administration) makes clear that is not request for payment. Things should come right on the first EdF bill, for the period from the transition date to the date of this first EdF bill (maybe September 2021 onwards?) EdF say they will ask for meter readings (or read the smart meters?) before they calculate this first bill.
If your closing statement from GNE (in administration) goes back 4 years (thus overlapping with bills from GNE when it was solvent?), something is seriously wrong. If phoning the number for GNE (in administration) given on the closing statement gets nowhere, you could try writing to the administrators. I do not know whether you can escalate to the Energy Ombudsman.1 -

PS I was never asked to provide any 'closing' meter readings for 29/4/21 by EDF
ps My first post here - hello everyone...
Incidentally, my GNE closing statement was emailed to me from noreply@greennetworkenergy.co.uk - not (as I wrongly expected) made available in my on-line EdF account.0 -
