My DD has been cancelled 'by someone'.Website works for me, says same as Neil_Jones.It's such a shame, because the GNE website was such a pleasure to use, compared to some.1

Don’t know if that is a temporary thing or if it has now been taken down completely.Working absolutely fine. However there is now a note on the home page - "Please note your access to Green Network Energy’s MyAccount will cease to exist as of 30 April 2021.
You will be able to access your MyAccount until 30 April should you wish to download any information."
I have held off cancelling the direct debit as I wanted to try to make sure I ended up with any GNE or EFF bills generated being on the correct DD version of the tariffs but from what I am reading EDF are cancelling the GNE DDs anyway & causing the GNE tariffs to update to the non DD version - potentially causing newly generated bills to be higher than they should be
the lack of transfer of credit balance reported by a poster is also pretty worrying

Possibly they are also deleting the legacy GNE DD mandates as they go along?Looking at the changes to My tariff in the GNE portal, the unit rates for Electricity and Gas have stayed the same, but the Standing charge has increased by 65% for Electricity and jumped up 80% for Gas - possibly as a result of the "change" to the payment method...0

My GNE DD has dissapeared and the last DD (24th March) was returned by my bank. I've asked them why but assume it was that the DD mandate had been cancelled. The edf DD which was briefly there has now also dissapeared. My account still shows as in progress so still can't go in and (re) setup the DD to edf0

Also like others my GNE account now shows as non DD and have taken screenshots of meter readings and tarrif before the site closes, but I do have the pdf with the original GNE DD tarrif0

I wonder why they don't just distribute the previous clients of a failed supplier proportionally across the remaining suppliers.Surely that makes sense?0

The administrators would have to deal with 50 or so companies instead of just one SoLR. It would delay everything by several years, and no doubt several more minnows would also have gone bust by then.Don't even think of going there !1

Split them over the 'Big Six' then. Job done. Send my fee to charity.

Have received an email from EDF this morning stating that a direct debit has been set up for my electric, and first payment will be taken during May. Have checked bank account and GNE has disappeared, replaced by EDF.
The amount for electric seems similar to when paying GNE. However, there is nothing mentioned about our gas account.
Have looked at EDF account for support, and will phone later to see what is happening.
Has this happened to anyone else?1 -

I got the welcome pack one including DD info but that was for both gas and electric, an EDF mandate briefly appeared on my bank account but next email was that DD was cancelled. I also provided readings on my EDF account, though the account is not yet fully setup eg I can't (re) setup the DD0
