    Yes - personalised one yesterday.

Latest info is that there will be 6 tariffs.

Had my usual monthly bill today

What are you expecting ?   EDF have said you will not pay more, that there will be 6 tariffs .....................

GNE has emailed me, EDF has emailed me, mse has emailed me - all within a week

  • TBH compared to the running fiasco of YE/SP I'm quite happy with the EDF promise not to increase GNE customer's energy costs until  (the end of?) September. I just hope, and pray, the GNE/EDF consolidation can be sorted by September

Oh i see. Everyone has emailed you, so you're fine. I'm alright Jack.
I am expecting to be told exactly what tariff i'm on, that i might then work out costings.
I personally don't think that's too much to ask. EDF have said we won't be paying more?...Easy, just leave tariffs as they are.
Should take no more than 10 minutes to sort out.

@Wobbly_Bob  I'm not expecting anything big in the way of a reduction - perhaps 0.01p/kWh that would save me about 20p.

I am being patient - been there before with gbEnergy

Easy to sort you say - but 10 days ago Edf didn't know that would suddenly be taking on 350,000 customers on a variety of existing tariffs.

10 minutes * 350,000 customers = 3,500,000 minutes = 58,333 hours = 2,430 days = 6.65 year... you could be waiting a while if it takes 10 minutes for every customer to get a personal email by that logic.

Why is working out the costings such a big deal? It's gonna be less than you've paid before so you don't need to change any of your normal habits/purchases. If you're hoping for a massive difference to go out and buy a new car, you are probably going to be out of luck.

Are you also waiting for EDF to tell you the exact amount of elec and gas you will be using in the next 12 months?

I think I may gain a little out of this.

My GNE fix runs out in June.  Edf are effectively extending this , at a reduced cost, till September.

My daily SC has been increased because I cancelled the DD. I sent a message to GNE regarding this and they said if I set up a DD again this would revert back to what I was paying. How can a company that has ceased trading do this? I intend to only pay what my tariff was.
