hello all, especially Mothernerd XX
I haven't kept track of much this month, Mum has been ill and has needed a lot more care than normal and it has not been fun for either of us. Mothernerd so much of your posts echoes my life. sending love XX
House bunny is having treatment and guinea pig was also ill, both go tomorrow to the vets. I am worried for house bunny. I don't think he has long left. Makes me so sad. Outdoor buns are good.
Money wise.......there are vet bills. I had to buy a new hoover since ours has semi packed up. I think it needs a clean, but I can't get to the bit that needs getting to. Hey ho.

Hi Turtles.Apologies not been here as much as possible.Reporting 11/15 NSDKitchen tiled £60 tiles/ £200 labour 2 days and looks so lovely, like a new kitchen. So happy and he even planed my door and fitted new door strip for me. Good all round guy to know. Very tempted to get my bathroom done as well. just need a new bath. Toilet and sink are pretty new.Had a day off yesterday lovely weather, gardening done, tiles left over returned, house clean up continued, dust everywhere with all the work done.Yesterday bit the bullet and got quote for replacing sealed window units that have blown. Reasonable priced so said go ahead, as need the window sorting before re tiling the bathroom.I apologise I will run a challenge at some point just bit awkward with no laptop at home and too busy in work to do it there atm. I probably need to buy a laptop but manage without one quite well.Grateful forFinding 4 tubs with bulbs sprouting under rotting plant and pampass grass yesterday.Lovely weather yesterday. today well tad gusty to say the least.Buying milk at lunchtime, I don't need to do shopping on way home now.LBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/226

You are so good at doing the challenges, Apple. I just don't have the imagination.
NSD No 17. What happened to Spring? Where did the sun go? An absolutely miserable day here. Cold, strong wind and lots of rain. Still got quite a lot of little jobs done and tidied some cupboards plus a bit of decluttering.
Wee one has been visiting us to show us how well she's doing with her online learning. I have to say I have great respect for all you parents and teachers out there who are dealing with this. I'm not sure that I'd be any good at it. As a reward she's gone off with a chocolate cake for her family to enjoy although I suspect most of it will end up in her little tummy.
Hope everyone is well.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.9 -
It was lovely and sunny first thing but then we got a blanket of grey cloud and it's very cold again. Still a lovely start to the day (had trouble sleeping until I finally went to get the ibuprofen spray from the drawer) and getting all that stuff from yesterday down on paper has made me feel light as air. Mum has been enthusing about her card making on the phone to a friend this morning so she's quite cheerful. I had a quiet morning but have been going through the filing (2 bags full to the bin so far - why do we need a 2010 gas / electric safety reports), but my back is aching now.
Sorry, I've no inspiration today - had a look but the things I was getting made me want to throw things at the laptop. I have a whole bunch of stuff saved somewhere (not sure what this week's mini challenge is because the piece of paper was so worn it detached itself from the notebook) but it's playing hide and seek. I need cartoon bunnies, penguins and bears (ah positive penguin - I'll go and look for that). My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage7 -

Sending penguins hugs
You matter. I am just a small penguin who naps all day and I matter, so you must be important
All my love for you.... in case you were having a bad day
I really don't know what I'm doing, but the secret is no-one does... so it'll be alright for us
It's okay to feel stressed. Take a breath. You've got this. You can do it.
You're strong. You're smart..... and most importantly , you're not going to give up
Sometimes you just gotta be lazy This is one of those times
Always be awesome and amazing, and if that's too much pressure, just be a little penguin. Hopefully people will be satisfied with that and if they're not just bite their stupid faces off with your awesome penguin beak

I want Mothernerd's version of Pingu !!Today I did something nice for someone else. Fed everyone. Made tea often for everyone. Made sure everyone was in their lessons, cleaned up a bit, and that is enough. Still on NSD15 as I bought milk and stocked up on tinned kidney beans. Nothing exciting happened. It was just Tuesday.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!
