Today I am grateful for doing a morning workout before my brain could rebel and stop me, for an early visit to liddle, for dd sleeping well, for a z00m call with big sis, for care homes going to allow 1 specific visitor so we can arrange for our H0me instead lady to see mum frequently.

Saturday- NSD 12/15, lost a NSD on Friday so I could buy emergency chocolate, decided after I had done that I would finally buy something useful/practical that has been in an out of my ebay basket for a couple of weeks but nothing bought today. Budgets sufficiently intact to allow me to transfer an additional bit of money over to a savings account. I have decided that I am going to speak to a couple of window companies this week to see if/when they can come and quote for new windows. I assume not until after lockdown lifts as it's not exactly an essential thing. As I have no idea how much it's likely to cost I'm throwing as much as I can into a savings account and crossing my fingers I can afford to do it this summer (or at least get the half of the house that the wind blows in through the frames done).
Grateful today- pony being a good boy, DD making dinner (with lots of help and supervision- but I'm hoping in a couple of years she will be able to throw together something edible by herself), mini eggs.

A quiet day, some embroidery done but although I don't hurt after yesterday's exertations, I am not in a get up and go mood. No money spent (I tried but the internet conked out) and I started to get dozy about 4. 30 pm so put my mask on in case I drifted off.
Grateful for lovely food (spiced up a tub of low fat coleslaw, added prawns and heaped it on top of a ginormous salad and ate it slowly throughout the day), listening to my body and taking it slow, good book to read and a good serial to watch - started to slow down as I'm mid series 3 and there are only 4 series. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage4 -

5 Healing Mantras for Reducing Stress
1) All Situations are Temporary
Nothing lasts forever. We know this intellectually. Plants die. Buildings collapse. Tires go flat. Hot cups of tea go cold. Everything is always in transition.
2) There is No Wrong Decision
When you've done millions of pro/ con lists, flipped coins hoping you'll know which decision you want before the coin hits the ground, but you come out empty handed, you might need to know that there is no such thing as the wrong decision.
3) I've Survived All the Difficult Moments of My Past
Take a moment to think of all the things you've been through in your life.
4) Be Still and Know
We have to focus. Focus on one idea. One task. One moment. And find joy in that stillness.
5) I trust the guidance of the universe
Choose to believe that whatever you're dealing with is being worked on by some entity bigger than yourself. Choose to believe that where you are is okay. You are enough
If stress burned calories, I'd be a supermodel
If I had to rate my stress, I'd say I'm pretty close to 2007 Britney
You can do anything, but not everything
When I get a headache, I take 2 aspirin and keep away from my children - just like it says on the bottle.

Hello everyone
Sorry I’ve been missing for a couple of days.
Still on NSD 7.
I’ve been preparing for an interview which I’ve got next week. I really want the job, on the phone they have told me that my profile is ideal so I’m really hoping it goes well face to face. eek.
Yesterday we took picnic food and sat by the river as it was quite warm, then borrowed our friends’ bicycles and cycled 15 min or so to the food market. I had forgotten how much fun riding bikes is!
hope everyone has had a good weekend x

NSD 15 today. Well we have survived 3/4 of February. Pats on the back all round for the Turtle Gang.My house is sparkly clean again from the top floor to the back door - still need to mop kitchen floor though. Plums stewed for a crumble, fruit salad made, pasties for lunch eaten, all laundry washed and dried - not folded and returned yet though.Simple pasta for supper tonight. Will play along with 'Millionaire' with the kids tonight with a bowl of home popped corn.Off for a nice bath and to condition my hair before somebody asks me to do something for them.Gratitudes: a tidy house for the next 18 hours, still being in budget with 7 days to go, being able to escape the house tomorrow, and plums. Oh! and finding another 4 Henry H00ver bags under the sink when the old one got full up - thought I might have been on the last one! Phew!4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Tesco delivery arrived. Got everything apart from the cream eggs. I'm devastated. I pretended they were for Himself and the Boy but actually they were for me. I love cream eggs. I have to confess I also ordered some undies for myself today. What I have is looking decidedly tatty. And I haven't bought anything for ages because I've practically been living in my jammies.
We're having a simple pasta meal tonight as well, F0xh0les, because the Boy is coming to collect his shopping and his time keeping is shocking. If I make something complicated he's bound to arrive at a crucial moment. I really like pasta though so it's really not a hardship.
Wee ones are playing outside. It's so nice to see them get out. Littlest one goes back to school tomorrow but her sister won't be for a few weeks yet. Think there will be tears in the morning. The bigger one is really missing school and her friends.
I am determined that I am going to start getting out for some fresh air. So the alarm is being set tonight and tomorrow we will go for a walk through the park and Himself will hand our prescription into the chemist. It's a start anyway because I'm starting to feel that I will never leave the house again.
Anyway, the girls want to feed Percy the pigeon so I'd better go and give them the bird seed.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.8
