toochoosey said:Iron is ready, but just wanted to ask Pigpen...did you pay for the course/ It seems to cost a fair bit... hoping the boss will offer!!
And I think we all feel a bit Meh a the moment xx
Not rota.d in for tomorrow but school shut again. A zoom meeting is planned for my other class so might need to join in on that x
Off to the iron....see you all in 30 x
I was sent an offer for 90% off so just had exam fees and certficate to pay for. I was able to sit the exam but had to pay £150 before I was allowed to have the certificate to say I had actually done it. It is on my dead laptop so I can't even tell you who it was with. I had several of the online academies offering little courses. I am waiting for a decent offer on the nutrition degree... but I think I need to improve my credit rating before being allowed finance to cover it.

Hi
No flying beyond the dailies today. Turned a few pieces of defrosted fish into a half decent dinner though.Went to work early in DH’s car, as it was very crunchy on the ice and frozen snow so I wanted to leave lots of time. I hate driving in snow or ice. Busy day, had to concentrate at everything as I seem to be making (or nearly making) lots of mistakes lately. Drive home was ok, usual idiots out and about. It is absolutely bitter out there now, so no sign that the ice will be gone tomorrow.
Narc0 - hugs, I hope today has gone as well as it could x
Mademoiselle - I just have to admire a girl who is up a tree, pollarding!Weirdly, I have also been looking at courses over the weekend - keep getting distracted by the Open Learn courses, including maths (who am I kidding, as I hated it at school and nothing has changed my mind since) and environmental science type ones, as well as the more suitable (for me, that is) French and German. It must be the cabin fever affecting us.7 -
Fayolle, DD is doing Environmental science x We currently have 3 mini ecosystems in the kitchen!!
Boss has given good vibes about all courses including the L4
DD and OH have consumed pie, chips, peas and gravy. Will have mine in a bit x7 -
Fayolle I am getting really anxious about driving in the bad weather, I think the fact that I am only driving one short journey to work and back every week is not doing my confidence any good. DS said his car was reading -7 when he left for work this morning, I am glad I didnt have to go anywhere.
Steady day at the paid stuff, downstairs hoovered, roast dinner cooked, 2 loads of washing done and pegged over the airer. Nearly had heart failure when DS texted to say he thought he might have to go to A&E, turns out he managed to stab a stanley knife into his leg cutting something open at work, so he had to have it steri-stripped back together.
Oh and I did my body weight class first thing, and managed at 40 minute walk at lunchtime, pleased with that. Like everyone else the cabin fever is definitely setting in so I try to get outside every day no matter how cold it is.

Well I have had a right good day. Online learning, plus activities, created and uploaded for tomorrow. My cunning plan of having Wednesday completely planned and resourced hasn't happened but I have also responded to all learning uploaded (unless they're still at it - I had some uploaded on Sunday so who knows) and cleaned kitchen and bathroom - (One mop bucket so moneysaving). Kitchen clean included top oven. Laundry brought in and ironed. It warmed up (well a bit) this afternoon so I had windows open to air the house. Old shower curtain applied to car windscreen then I don't have to scrape it in the morning. Towels ready to go in WM then they can be TD in the morning. DW stacked and ready to go too.
I got a tiny joint YS at the co-op - beef - so I am thinking of slow cooking it with veggies to make a casserole in the hope that it will be lovely and tender and fall apart and do me 4 meals. So that needs to come out of the freezer in the morning so it's thawed full by Wednesday. Any tips/recipes appreciated otherwise it will be a fling it all in and hope for the best job.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Food shop done, dog walked & some (very little, if I'm really honest!) paperwork done. Oh, and that sinking feeling you get when you go to bed & realise it hasn't been remade after washing the bedding 🤦♀️😭 Its done now 🙂
toochoosey I think I have a mini ecosystem in my kitchen, lurking at the back of the fridge! 🤣🤣
Hugs to those that need them. I hope everything went okay today Narc0
