I'm afraid, I haven't caught up on thread, and minimal flying done
I'm looking for advice, though.... I have lost a bit of weight over the last year or so and have been told by friends and family to go to the doctors.....does anyone have any ideas before i book an appointment?8 -
I haven't done a lot of Fly Lady tasks this week. I had a bit of a bad flare up for 2 days and just became unmotivated this week.
Today I tried to catch up on some areas;- Cleaned oven - need to get hubs to unscrew so I can get to the glass window & need to do the grates (my arm is killing me; fibro flare now lmao)
- Brought bits of shopping that we couldn't get with Asd.
- Picked up meds
- Brought 2 comfy head pillows for myself ! hoping to get a more restful sleep with these
- Washed up
- Swept & mopped the kitchen floor
- Accidently put my clothes on another 3 hours dry
- Cleaned the sides off , took the books upstairs in our boiler cupboard ; we don't have anyother place for them but use them occasionally
- Put washing away
- Quick dash tidying around the living room
- Made bed
I hope all are well & hugs for those who need some - please take

Sleet/rain/snow continued here all day so I went nowhere other than to collect the c&c from Mr T.
However I have done the bulk of my CPD logging which will not only get me one step further towards being able to apply for my certificate renewal but also declutter my desk somewhat. Am faintly horrified how inconsistently I have filed some of the information, with powerpoints and certificates in normal emails, in folders of emails, folders of documents etc; took me some searching to find all my evidence.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.9 -

How do you feel in yourself? Was the weight loss sudden?
Sudden extreme weight loss can be a sign of something serious or it might be you are busy and not eating as much rubbish as usual. I lose weight when stressed because I don't eat, at all.. It could be nothing or hormonal or it could be something scary or something perfectly treatable (hyperthyroid or T2 diabetes).. If you are concerned get checked.. Strictly speaking we are not allowed to give medical advice so.. if in doubt, get checked out..They will just do blood tests to rule out thyroid issues etc and then tell you you're fine no doubt.. but at leats you can tell friends you're fine and to stop flapping.. they are only saying it because they care! xx Let us know what you decide though because we will be worrying now!

ASB very glad you are OK, we have missed you, hope it gets sorted x
toochoosey I echo what others have said, unexplained weight loss can be a sign of something wrong, but if you have no other symptoms I wouldnt be too worried. I do think you should get an appointment though, because it's clearly on your mind and worries like this can start to grow and snowball then you can start to have physical symptom caused by worrying (I speak with experience here). Let us know how you get on x
Slept well, birds are chirping outside, sun is shining and its crisp and frosty. Going to do my order with Mr A then see what the day brings. I need to get out of the house and I need to stop mindlessly scrolling on FB, I cant put my phone down at the moment and its becoming too much of a habit.

Morning xx
We miss you too asb xx Fingers, legs, arms and eyes crossed for you xx
I'm up, dressed, breakfasted and I've supped two brews. I've made the bed, glugged bleach down the loo, done a laundry shuffle, set WM swishing with towels / tea towels, fed the birds, put out the recycling, and sorted a small pile of paper found on the kitchen worktop (while the kettle was boiling). I haven't washed up as there are only my breakfast pots - spoon, dish and mug. The man is due here at 10 am - and breathe....
Round 1 =
put craft bag with all cross stitch kits into ROD (to be sorted at a later date)
look through pile of papers in kitchen (I think they are all DS's in which case he can have them)
wash glasses in drinking game and put on DS's pile
put jigsaw in cupboard
put box with stash of birthday etc cards in cupboard
Waves to HoneyBear xx I always think of you when I am in MAD mode rather than keep on top of the dailies mode. One day I will have a totally uncluttered floor. There's already enough floor in the living room for me to lay down and make a floor angel if I wanted to....I tend to forget that when I started there was a narrow corridor to the tv and to the curtains. The stairs have been clear for so long that I don't remember them being cluttered - but I'm reliably informed that there used to be piles of stuff on the right of every step. Pity I didn't take photographs so I could compare before and during - and eventually after. I suppose I still could - there's still a long way to go.
Love, hugs and oodles of flylady dust to you all.
Rxx
IT ONLY TAKES SMALL DAILY ACTIONSFOR MAGIC TO HAPPENRosemary Ikpeme7 -
Good morning!
I was woken by the kitten demanding food (loudly, behind the closed kitchen door) at 5:45. DH usually does it, but he was asleep, so I fed the animals & went back to bed. The naughty puss then came in and was chewing through wires, so I turfed him out of the bedroom! 🤬
I am still in bed now, and have had my first cuppa. I need to get up and eat now though. I am formulating a plan of action. All the clutter & small pieces of furniture need to be removed from the LR before the carpet cleaner man comes tomorrow. I'm so excited!! I will finally get to cross it off my Toots list 😁
Have a good day everyone!

Morning all. I have washing to peg out, as it's dry. Socks I popped on a hanger thing so popped the out while waiting for kettle to boil.

Good morning all x
Thanks for the advice, I did have a tummy bug during the first lock down which I think was the main cause but I do think it might be thyroid or hormonal (Aunt Flo hasn't been for a bit).
Anyway, OH has cooked dinner for us, DSD and her gang, so 9 in total!!! I have WUDUAPA (I think that's right?).
Washing in the TD. Must put another load on too,
Must do a bit more of my course today too.
Snowing here x
