for the smart features to work, you need to connect the TV to the Internet. That manual should show you how. You click the home button and brings up the menu of the smart apps, like iplayer, itv player etc. The paid for services like Apple TV, Netflix and now tv are on there also. Like I said with now tv you get a free 7 day trial. Cinema is basically all the stuff you get with sky movies, and there’s also entertainment. Make sure you cancel before the end of 7 days though. That’s easy to do via your now tv account which you will have to set up should you decide to go for free trial.
first things first though, connect the internet to the tv. Page 7 in manual. How long have you got left with virgin? I’m surprised they havent Called you since you cancelled with them.

Hasn't been on Channel 132 for years. Look at channel 233 instead.

You may need to retune the tv, it may not have picked all the channels up
https://www.freeview.co.uk/freeview-channel-checker
put your postcode in here and should give you all the channels you should get.
