@elsiepac thank you for the new thread.
First month trying this, so excited to see how I do, can I put myself down for £290? Of which £40 is for takeaways which I hope we don’t use, then again I do love my doughnuts!
Fingers crossed that will be fine.5 -
Count me "in", @elsiepac. £140 for the month of February, which will run from 1st to 28th. That's for all groceries for two adults.
Many thanks for the new thread and for running the challenge.

Morning Peeps,
popping in on the thread for the first time this year. I have been following the ethos in my absence. I am still working on the £200 per month. This I use as all cash, withdrawn on pay day 27th placed in a seperate purse and placed in a location DH is able to find. I have still over £50 till payday this month. The dog food comes from this too. We have even managed this month with the odd takeaway that sneeks in has been taken from "the purse". We have definately eaten more from the freezer (upright). To do even better I need to log all spends to see if I can stash enough for when I do the butcher run which is always over £100. There is only the 2 of us and the odd bit that gets given to my son when GD says they are shopping at Grandma's
Stay safe
