Woke up this morning to a credit search notification from equifax, and it looks like Natwest have done a subsequent search on me. I have a great credit score and no adverse credit so I'm not worried, but does anyone have any idea what that might be about? 

Of course the mortgage tracker is down too!

We assumed this would mean we were to expect a decision in the next few days but when I called them they've said its not even gone to the underwriter yet and that's a 10 working day minimum! We applied on the 19th April and I'm starting to get disheartened

don't be disheartened, ours applied in the middle go march, get onto this step same day of you

Apparently they confirmed with the broker on Thursday the name of our solictors as they had 2 different ones. Nothing since then, they said they will
give it a nudge.

Awh no sounds like it’s sat in a pile somewhere…the silliest simplest of things seem to just take forever

Hi, newbie here!! FTB.

Natwest full mortgage app went in on the 09-05, a hard search was done the same day is this the 'norm'??? Has anyone got a timescale - a recent one? i was told expect a 2 week wait or so for a response.
