Just thought I'd share my timeline.

    Thursday 16/12 - AIP
Friday 17/12 - applied late in the evening direct (online)
    Monday 20/12 - uploaded documents
Tuesday 21/12 - deposit proof documents requested and valuation survey booked
Tuesday 21/12 (PM) - valuation survey completed
Wednesday 22/12 - further deposit proof requested
    Thursday 23/12 - mortgage offered (around 16:30)

I'm 70% LTV. Have to admit that's unbelievably quick!
Our valuation was never confirmed so went back in a holding pool with legal and general and now the vendor is on holiday. It's a vacant property so I know the estate agent does viewings so I can't see why the estate agent isn't booking in the valuation. Earliest date for valuation is now 10th January but will be later by the time the vendor actually returns the calls and books it.

I'm amazed at how quick yours was. Ours would of been probably offered if they had managed to do the valuation.
  • Valuation finally booked for 11th January. Hoping NatWest at quick and manage to get back to us by the end of the week.

Our application went in yesterday, we have been waiting over 2 months with HSBC so decided to find another broker and put in a second application to Natwest. Hoping for a quick offer. 🙏
  • For us , timescale was really fast.
    DIP: 14th January
Appointment for application : 19th Jan
    Application submission: 20th Jan
    Approved: 28th Jan.
  • Just wondering whether anyone had to re-send payslips and a P60. Valuation all done and ok’d but now asking for this info. All other docs signed off too.. thought the offer would be imminent but now I’m not so sure  :(
  • Anyone know how long NatWest are taking to release funds?

Jumping into this thread - our application has been submitted to NatWest via our broker after a successful DIP

Does anyone know if I can track the application myself or do all updated need to come from the broker?

Yes, but you'll drive yourself mad if anything like me - it doesn't update often.

Ask your broker for the NatWest reference number, or if your broker happens to be L&C you'll find it on the 'Details' tab of their tracker.

You then track the progress here:
    https://www.tracker.natwest.com/nwb/mortgageapp/tracker/login.jsp?intcam=HP-B-TB-DEF-Default

It takes a few days after a reference number is issued for it to start working on the tracker.

Thanks! That’s really helpful. We’re not with L&C so I’ll ask the question tomorrow.

Should only be a couple of days assuming full offer in place etc. My solicitor requested funds on 22nd November and they were sent on 25th ready for completion on 26th.
