    Hi everyone.

New to the forum. We recently completed on our sale, temporarily back with parents whilst hopefully buying our second home which is a new build (fingers crossed).

    1) Self employed
    2) Employed

LTV technically 69% but product applied for 75% LTV.

    Our timeline so far;

Mon 17/10/22 - Mortgage submitted via broker

Friday 28/10/22 - NatWest application live, requested one further doc doc submitted same day as held on file by broker

    Thurs 3/11/22 Valuation booked

    Fri 4/11/22 Valuation.

The wait is killing me. We are also under pressure as we had an exchange deadline with the developer of 6 weeks which isn’t looking very achievable based on Natwest timescales. Eeek

@bubblefish89 sorry to tell you that I applied on 27th SEPTEMBER and STILL NO OFFER!! Timescales at NatWest are beyond ridiculous.
I know. Accessing these forums is the only thing keeping me going.

It’s also crazy how different peoples experiences are from a couple of weeks to nearly two months!
  • @Bubblefish89

FTB applied to Natwest just a day later than yourself. Been told that valuation has been instructed and all documents are being checked. Not been asked to submit anything further as of yet.

It's been just 3 working weeks but it feels as though I have been waiting months! Interesting as you say that some people are getting offers within a few weeks whereas others is can be a couple of months.

    Hopefully we hear soon.

Congratulations! That’s a fair timescale for natwest to offer. I’d be pleased if we could make the same timescale. We are slightly behind having applied 17/10. Fingers crossed. Will keep everyone updated
  • Just logged in to our tracker.

Appears to have been a request for another set of docs today 09/10 in addition to the ones requested on 28/10.

Not sure what they have requested but states ‘we are pleased to confirm that we have received the information sent on behalf of your client. We are reviewing this and will contact you if we need any further information’

Back to the queue… I guess a positive is it seems they are continually reviewing our case.

  • Its almost a week now since i submitted application and uploaded all documents. Not a single update. Very disappointing 😕
