I think I’ve read every post on this thread waiting for our mortgage to go through with NatWest so thought I’d share ours:30/9- full application submitted
30/9- hard search on both credit files
12/10- tracker started working
18/10- valuation completed in person
19/10- valuation report received and reviewed
20/10- documents reviewed, requested more information (submitted immediately)
21/10- documents reviewed, again requested more information (submitted immediately)
24/10- documents reviewed
25/10- offer received via email
25/10- moved to completion on tracker awaiting title deeds from solicitors
its been a stressful process and we were sure we were going to be declined but thankfully not!
both employed, 95% LTV mortgage2 -

could I please ask whether your tracker was updated in real time for all those stages? Mine has stayed the same since 12/10 (all reviews ticked) and I’m feeling pretty impatient waiting for my broker to respond to me chasing

Yes ours always updated in real time ours never moved until the valuation was done and then it all seemed to be updated on the tracker as soon as anything happened. Once something updated we got an email from our mortgage advisor pretty much straight after it was ticked on the tracker to confirm.0

I think I’m at the same point you were on 24/10 @louiseh73.All docs ticked last night and the wait is painful…! I mentioned earlier that live chat told me they were doing “know your customer” checks which would be complete within 2 working days.Someone give me some hope….0

I am intrigued by the huge differences in peoples timelines, and the time it is taking for people to receive their offers. Some are receiving them so quickly, whilst others are not!! I am a bit miffed, as I can see that some people who have applied AFTER me have received, their offers already. I know every case is different, but the waiting is just excrutiating!
My timeline for reference is:-
27th September - Full application made (Via Broker)
27th September - Hard Credit Search
30th September - Valuation (Physical) completed
30th September - Valuation assessed and all OK
10th October - all outstanding actions "ticked"
10th October - further info requested, sent immediately
20th October - outstanding action "ticked"
24th October - Broker confirms offer will be issued "within 5 days"
28th October (today) no offer as yet, and tracker still showing the same info
I am waiting on tenterhooks here, just waiting for that offer to come through!! Someone please placate me and tell me all will be well! Ha!0 -
Sure it will be fine!I think timescales are mainly dependent on whether the valuation is desktop or in person, and the amount of info they need to request after you’ve applied?1

I am happy to know that an offer is going to be made (they said on Monday it would be within 5 days) I am just now waiting for it to actually materialise!!0 -
