  • Great cushion rosekitten... I still havent got round to finishing mine as ive been concentrating on the bedroom decor first... Im so pleased although OH calls it the love room as Ive gone for pinks and reds with handmade heart wall art. Ill try to do the cushions over the weekend.
I made some heart picks on bamboo skewers and put them in a vase with red tissue scrunched in the bottom, they look quite impressive even if I do say so myself :rotfl:

You are all being busy...............managed to sort out some of my hampers this morning so I know whos having what.........got ex foster girls one for Christmas complete........white towels, small gold jewllry box, some soaps all boxed up (white and cream),loofah with scrunchie on the end) and two bottles of bath stuff in red - one oil, the other's got some bath pearls in it.
Baskets I got from Argos weren't big enough but I'd got a bigger one lined in red that I'd had something given me in and its perfect.
Sorted out her birthday one and wrapped in voile scarf........what a performance trying to get it just right .............lol Also sorted for my friends birthday in March and got my sons all ready to box up for April.
Grandsons toy box I got him is full.............(his birthdays not till June.....lol)
OH just sort of scratched his head and went to the pub..................lol
I've got quite a few bits for sons girlfriend and my teenage grandaughter........think I'll have to start looking for 'boy' things now.........lol

  • What a delightful thread ive just spent ages reading it all, cant believe how easy it is to do those cupcakes, slices and chocolate rolls. Guess what my mum and mil is getting for mothers day. I started to read this thread because i thought that a picture of a wedding cake made from towels would be on here and I would love to make it for my sil's wedding in June. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to where it would be.

Just to add that i made those retro boxes 2 years ago for my 2 d/s and they loved them so much so that I made them again this last christmas.

Keep the ideas coming they are fax.

nice to see you on here, hope you decide
    to drop in often.

the beauty of this thread we are all
real beginners, that are just having a go
and its so enjoyable and a real change
from similar threads, where so many are
    so good at making stuff.

So why not have a bash and have a go
    with the rest of us.

I found some pics of towel cakes
these are single tier but might be
easier to do.Some are so over the
    top but interesting to see.

I almost forgot but on friday I
    was whisked through the 99p
shop by my other half, using it
as a short cut to the bus station.

I glance at some scrunchies in a box
before being rushed along and noticed
they are selling a box of four scrunchies
inside were two regular ones like you
would normally buy and two that had
been made to look like roses, with
    green leaves attached.Might be worth
    looking out for,because the Christmas
before last a single one of these rose type
scruchies in Boots was around £3.50 for
    one.

Why do men rush everywhere ?
its not like the shops on fire

  • Thanks rosekitten, I actually made the cushions today, a heart one decorated with ribbon and beads and an oblong one decorated with pink ribbon folds and side ties. OH was amazed by them for a first attempt.
Just got to embellish the mirror with some petals and hearts and its all done.
