That's fantastic @keats61 :D (also everyone else still plugging away!)

I put my £42.16 in last month so up to £600.30 for the year so far. One small and two tiny months to go!!
Pushing the pennies around to try and make pounds...

  • Whoever said don't leave the big money columns until the end of the year gave brilliant advice. I'm always skint in January as well so I did the later big money weeks in April May June if that helps anyone otherwise with gas and electric hikes and fuel and tax on the way I would not have managed this much. I hope it runs next year.

  • I work backwards Blackberrycurved.  I often get a little bit of money at Christmas - the odd £5 here and there - and use that to put to the bigger amounts first.  Short term pain but very worth it.

I'm also dreading what will happen with the electric bills etc - many more frugal months ahead of us I think.  Also hoping this thread will run next year to keep me on track.

So happy I have been nibbling away at December & November as I have gone along.
Totally up to date to the end of October, and just need £50 to complete November and December so with a following wind I should be able to whack that in at the end of this month and have the whole shebang completed in time for starting my Chrimble shopping for the the start of December.

Wil definitely do this challenge again next year!!!
