  • With September's money in the pot, I'm now up to £649.04.  Just October and November to go (I started in December with the highest amounts - really hard and challenging at times, but well worth it when you get to the very small amounts).  Can't wait to open my tins and count it all again!  Keep going everyone - we are so close to finishing  :)

  • I have made £639 I have never in my life had so much money for us at Christmas. I will try not to spend it all because January is a tough month but woo woo.

  • Ok so this is my 2nd post on here it seems. I don't usually sign up or comment on these posts just follow quietly and fail. This year I decided to do the 1p a day challenge for the 5th consecutive year( I have never completed it before as something always comes up and i need to use the money). Well today I completed it not once but twice  This morning I printed off another 2 sheets to start again and thought I would come on here for a bit of inspiration and noticed that I signed up on this challenge in January (number 44 I think) So I wanted to share my success with everyone and also thank everyone as even though I don't comment I do take inspiration.
I have also not told anyone else I am doing this challenge as there will be too much pressure to spend the money on things they think is essential so I wanted to share my achievement with someone so here it is.
