I'm sure elsiepac will be along soon to add you, Hurdler - stick with us!

I used sealed tins in 2019 and put in the exact change every day from my spare change pots or my purse but last year and this year I have gone virtual. I liked saving cash and I LOVE a sealed tin and still have many on the go for various funds, but especially in this rubbish time in which we have found ourselves, there just doesn't seem to be much cash out there anymore. I hope cash doesn't disappear, I love collecting my coins and popping them into my tins! :) xxx
Yes Hurdler, stick with the thread. You’ll get added to the list

Lets hope cash doesn’t disappear, I love a cash stash and have several around the house. Am worried though. John Lewis wouldn’t let me pay £1.50 parking charge with cash, attendant said it was card only. Really!!!!!

Haven't posted for a long time but I've been keeping up with the challenge so have £104.40 saved - or more accurately paid off the credit card .....I'm sure they're naffed off with me making all these small, daily payments lol!
  • Hello Please can i join for accountability I have started 2 of these (November 2020) and I am still going. I have 1 I am saving as an emergency fund and 1 that is a surprise for my son when he turns 17 hopefully it will go along way to buying him a car as I transfer this into accounts I don't tend to get tempted to use it like I have done previously (also no one else in the house knows I'm doing it so don't ask for it)  I'm thinking of starting a third to pay off debt but think this maybe a struggle as money will be tight I will put into  pot and pay off when every month. wish me luck
