Have added April's money into the pot so #3 is now up to £437.90. I'm working backwards and really looking forward to some smaller amounts but as I'm still working from home, I've been using my petrol money to get the larger amounts out of the way. Still hard though, but getting there

I was trying to do the 1p challenge but it was playing with my weekly budgets too much! I've decided to divide the year total target of £600 odd, minus the £48 I've saved so far & just pop that around in each month from my pay... so about £68 a month!Virtual Sealed Pot Challenge #137 (£4.13)

Hello
A friend encouraged me to do this as I had been out of freelance work since lockdown started. My lovely lodger got me a job doing data processing on payroll for film and tv productions and it was a year to the day I started since my last freelance shift.
I started this and have been a huge devotee of account buckets since I first discovered MSE when I was trying to get myself out of credit card debt about a million years ago, and again when I was a Mortgage Free Wannabee.
Today I sorted out everything I owed the kitty from the start of the year through to Sunday last week, and I put in January, February and March in the bank along with my regular 'treat' account transfer from my 'Cash Allowance' ... I also am amassing from 31/Dec backwards at the end of each week so I should be able to pay off November and December somewhere in the middle of November, just in time for Christmas.
Please can I be added to the list and I hereby declare that Jan, Feb & Mar '21 is banked!
When I used to do the mortgage free wannabee challenge - I had Vernon the Virtual Piggy Bank... so I think it only fitting he makes a comeback!
