I thought so and I would have hoped so. I will still persevere but half the fun is being part of the challenge...Sallyp2 said:
I think you will get added. Preserve and keep posting - you’ll get added on. I think there are some spare numbers on page 1. Surely anyone can join anytime of the year????Hurdler said:
Thanks but it looks as though I am not being added to the challenge so.... not really much point in posting on here as I obviously missed the boat. Will still save but just won't bother giving Vernon another outing.Sallyp2 said:

Vernon says thank you. Still have not been added/allocated a number but sitting down to do the finances and will get myself up to date to end of May in the hope that I can maybe claim that solitary No. 43 in the list or at least get added to the list in some way, shape or form. Otherwise you might only see Vernon at the end of the year.CazzieLT said:

I’m loving Vernon but me I have to have it a jar or tim or several tins. I have to count it bag it and feel that I’ve done something. My virtual piggy was easy to put into but with the app on my phone to easy to withdraw out of. I don’t put anything bigger than a £1 in the tin so I have to tip I’m out go to the bank and change it to notes. I need barriers 🤣DF by 2023 No 17 £1,644 /£6000 Total debt £18,000 at the start of DFW Journey. 201814TH JULY 2021 DEBT FREE now in control365 1p challenge No 491

I'm sure elsiepac will be along soon to add you, Hurdler - stick with us!
I used sealed tins in 2019 and put in the exact change every day from my spare change pots or my purse but last year and this year I have gone virtual. I liked saving cash and I LOVE a sealed tin and still have many on the go for various funds, but especially in this rubbish time in which we have found ourselves, there just doesn't seem to be much cash out there anymore. I hope cash doesn't disappear, I love collecting my coins and popping them into my tins!
