£700 overpayment bringing us down to £303,250.... Soooo close!
Off to forest of Dean on Friday. Lodge looks good and has a hot tub, plus got money off with the club card. A little worried that there won't be much to do but if the weather behaves it will be great!3 -
Just read your diary through. You are doing amazingly on the PP and with kids as well.
I don't know how mothers got thru all that home schooling, work and run the household. You are a real superwoman.
Look forward to seeing you break the 300k barrier (which is the mortgage Amt I think I will be needing)DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

So my little brother got married! Such a wonderful day and they did it on a Tuesday to save money! They will hopefully buy in the next year so we have them £500 for their deposit pot. Hopefully another set of mfwannabies in the making! 💗3

Bank holiday time! We are staying in a caravan for the first time ever. Place is called Sandy balls 😂😂😂😂
Sharing with friends to save money and I'm pleasantly surprised. Bedrooms are tiny, but living room and kitchen are quite spacious and all very new looking. So pleased we didn't opt for a lodge as they look like they need a refresh and were £2000 for the bank holiday!! (We paid £800 so £400 each). Have a great weekend everyone!2 -
Hope you enjoy your break 😀Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
Cleared 🧚♀️🧚♀️🧚♀️!!! In 5 years, 1 month and 29 days
Total amount repaid: £72,307.03. £1.10 repaid for every £1.00 borrowed
Finally earning interest instead of paying it!!!3 -
Thanks @South_coast the kids are currently making an assault course out of the pillows in the caravan, so it's safe to say they are happy!2
