So this month my overpayment was less. I paid off £610.88. The start of term means lots of payments for extra curricular clubs and drama exams etc. I could pay off a bit more but I don't want to run out of money. Feels a bit like I've failed as other months I've paid off £1000 but it is still progress.
    So the figures...
Mortgage total - £317,500 (nice round number!!)
Total reduction this year - £12,500
Total needed to hit goal - £17,500
    Daily interest - £15.25
So still not in the £14 a day interest but I am determined to get there.
Need to psych myself up and not get distracted by my birthday this month!

How is everyone else finding eating out? Went out with another family for lunch on the weekend and the bill was £105 I couldn't believe it! I am so used to eating at home and it just seemed like such a waste of money!

@Orangetoes, We've only done it once so far, but I had a sharp intake of breathe at £14.50 for a halloumi and field mushroom burger and fries (very small portion) and £7.95 for a small glass of house white. Just not used to it, and prices have to cover their lower number of covers I guess. I dread to think what theatre bar prices will be, we used to go a lot and even BC, it wasn't unusual for a round for two of us to be over £20 - I don't think I can go back to being that extravagent!
