Well done OT!3

Thanks @Cornish_mum
Just back from holiday was so good to have some sun! We had a villa and breakfast was included so we were very economical!
Nothing much to report financially, things just chugging along. Interest is still in the £14.00. Think that would be a good target, as honestly it is so annoying to spend over £14 a day on interest!!
Day 2 lateral flows tomorrow, so glad it wasn't PCRs as they were such a rip off. Fingers crossed we are all negative!2 -
Tests all negative but caught a sickness big gah! On the plus side DH has taken little ones out and I finally got round to phoning John Lewis about dodgy weighing scales and Tesco about a £10 voucher that wouldn't apply when I ordered. Every little helps!2

Just bought myself a heated airer. Despite having a utility room, there is no space for a tumble dryer and I'm not a fan of combi washer/ dryers. It was expensive £200 including a cover but I'm hoping it will solve my winter woes! Usually there are clothes drapped on all the radiators in winter and it drivers me mad. Apparently it's 6p an hour to run, so more economical than a dryer too. Does anyone else have one?2

So November update...
Mortgage total - £296,299,77
Total reduction this year - £33,700.22
Overpayment this month -£165.00
So small overpayment this month. Need to be realistic as DD and DH birthday this month then Christmas. Hopefully can add to it a little as month goes on.
Also need some goals for motivation, aiming for the 2s was great, now we e made it the number seems huge again!2 -
I’ve not heard of a heated airer before. We do have a tumble dryer in the garage but given the increase in electricity bills I too have drying all over the house.Good reduction in mortgage total.2017 - mortgage of £140,000 and interest rate of £10 a day
Feb 2021 mortgage of £103000
May 2021 mortgage of £100000
July 2021 mortgage of £97000
November 2021 mortgage of £93000
July 2022 mortgage of £84000
December 2022 mortgage of £79000
December 2023 mortgage of £73000
March 2024 mortgage of £70000
May 2024 mortgage of £68000
October 2024 mortgage of £65000
February 2025 mortgage of £63000
March 2025 mortgage of £45000 and interest of £6.07 per day3 -
The goal thing is good too. I tend to go for the next 10000 or something significant to me, at the moment, the amount last mortgage started at (this one is slightly depressing too 😂)2017 - mortgage of £140,000 and interest rate of £10 a day
