  • Yes, I just hate the buying of gifts for the sake of it. Whereas an experience can be something you treasure.

  • And work is done for 2021!! Wahey! Now to prepare for Christmas. Bike bought from eBay for eldest one, saving £220 from new price and it's only two years old. Now to find a good price for a scooter for the littlest one.
Adults we do secret Santa with limit of £30, so not too many more spends.

Secret Santa is a good plan too.

  • So had my booster on Friday and them wham knocked out all Saturday. Feeling more normal this morning thank goodness. Still good to be boosted and very impressed with the service. I did a walk in and it took 20 minutes from start to finish. Very kind all those volunteers.
  • Older DC found a gift card I'd forgotten about for £70 at John Lewis so that sorted the scooter out for the youngest DC. So presents are almost done!

Well done on the booster. Fab news on the gift card. That's a huge win at Xmas.

  • Yes @savingholmes I was so happy as I thought I'd lost it or spent it!
  • Christmas present from the OH £3000 overpayment of the mortgage hurrah! I've trained him well.
Meaning we are now only £413.82 away from the 280s... Need to look at the budget, as that is just too annoying!!

LOL at not being satisfied with a £3K OP! You'll have your mortgage cleared in no time with that attitude though. Well done to both of you.
