Minimise.
Just finished a crochet baby blanket. It's a gift for a work colleague. That's 600g less in my wool stash.
Make do.
Can't drive to the supermarket at the moment due to a bad back so I'm using up food from freezer and shelves.
Mend.
DH managed to repair a drawer handle yesterday so no outlay on a complete new set of handles.7 -
Two years ago the thermostat on my 1975 fridge failed, so I now control the temperature using an STC-1000 controller. Finer control now than with the original thermostat.7

Mended the leaky wooden gutter over my bay window by inserting a plastic one inside it and using plastic fittings at the end instead of the old lead outlet pipe which was prone to blockages. Having the wooden gutter allows me to prop my ladder against it when I clean the debris out out of the gutter, and it still looks authentic to the house.9

Minimise - finished making a single bed sized blanket from outgrown baby clothes for someone, so that's 2 bags out if the bedroom. Going to use the remnants to stuff a draft excluder for my porch door.
Also using wool from stash to knit myself a jumper.
On Tuesday I used up bruised bananas for banana bread, and mushrooms (that sometimes go to waste) to make 2 quiches. Put one in the freezer & are the other one. Whilst the oven was on I roasted the last of the homegrown tomatoes to ear alongside the quiche & baked ham tarts with the leftover pastry.
Reused wrapping paper to wrap some Christmas presentsUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

Mended and reused - Used the straps from an old bra where the cup part was falling apart to mend a bra where the straps had started to fray. Also used the clasps from the old bra to make an extended for another bra that no longer fitted.
Minimised - Sold some of my youngest DS's out grown clothes on Vinted.Credit Card Debt

Long time lurker here who watches this thread with interest.
Minimise - 2 big bags of my daughters old baby clothes have gone to a friend today who has recently had her first baby.
Mend - mended the seams on rabbit costume in the children's dressing up box.
Make do - in the process of turning above mentioned rabbit costume into a sheep costume with the use of lots of cotton wool balls (for middle child's Christmas concert). Also took apart oldest daughters damaged hair band, recovered with some fleece off cuts, made some felt ears and covered with more cotton wool to make a sheep headband for middle child.
I loathe wasting things but I also like to work to a tight budget. The school has so many dressing up days and I always try to make the costumes with what I already have in. Saves spending £15 on a costume that gets worn once!
Next job is to start making oldest child's Christmas concert costume. The list is never ending right now but I love the craft aspect of it so it keeps me very happy!11 -
Make do - my 6 year old daughter is very tall and skinny for her age. She's already outgrown school trousers that I bought her a few months ago. Instead of buying new I've taken the hem down today.
Minimise - passed on a pair of gloves to my mother.4 -
Broken saucepan lid, mended using a whisky bottle cork. Sewn hanging loops on hand towels using my 64 year old hand sewing machine. During the pandemic I made many masks using that machine. At present building an allotment shed using reclaimed timber from a fence, a few doors, a uPVC window, and a repurposed up and over door for the roof.6
