I've just made a door curtain from an old white single sheet. I've used a spring loaded shower pole. It works a treat, helping to keep the heat down in my south facing kitchen.  
DD cleared out a load of unwanted/unsuitable toiletries and they're being collected later this week by an Olio member.

I was at a family 'do' yesterday with a buffet my DD did as my DGS Danny and his wife are home from New York on a visit.When I was coming home there was a big plate of cut up celery and DD said do you want to take it home Mum ?I said yesand its in a bowl in the fridge in water at the moment I shall work my magic on it and turn it into a nice celery soup for a couple of free lunches this wee,far better than being tossed out into the waste bin.

Mend: Repaired holes in DS1's t-shirt & jeans.
Minimise: Used material out of my stash to cut out & make 4 bears for future craft fayres.
Finished another book to add to the bundle to sell. Sold lots more coins on fleabay.
Make do: someone was selling deckchairs on a local page. Said we'd have them, but vendor had noticed a little bit of woodworm, so gave them us for free. We have preservative in the garage, so all good 😃 have lots of berries on our fruit bushes, most picked & frozen, DH takes some out of the freezer to add to his porridge

Well done that reminds me before I put them away one of the covers of my fold up camping chairs needs repairing so I'll dig out  an old pillowcase and use the cotton off that to make a new base bit .Those fold up chairs are great on the beach but the covers with the carry handles are usually made of flimsy materialI had to repair one last year.Once they are done they get hung by the handles in the cupboard under the stairs until next summer I have just put that on top of my to-do list Cheers

Repairs yesterday, one rugby shirt’s cuffs were parting company with the sleeves so they’ve been reattached and a work shirt had lost a button. A rummage through the button jar provided a ‘not identical but close enough no one will notice’ silver button to replace the missing one.

I'm using some of my yarn stash to knit a couple of jumpers for DD.  One needs the neckband knitting and then sewing up; once that's done I'll start on the second one.  She's very slim and only 5' 4" tall, so they don't take a lot of doing and it will help her out.

Finished making my Tunisian crochet blanket, using wool I'd been given. It'll keep me cosy as the days grow colder.

Made do with a kitchen knife to weed my driveway as I don't want to buy a pressure washer. 

Five bras and a pair of leggings brought back into use yesterday after a good couple of hours mending.

And in minimising news I chucked out half my dogs collections of bones, so all the bones and toys fit in the bucket again now
