Without the DPF you will have a car that operates more efficiently with more power, better fuel efficiency and never having to worry about future DFP issues. It's stupid that your making such a fuss about this when you should have been happy the DFP wasn't there and looked at is as a bonus. You said it was cut and welded shut so wouldn't have failed any MOT's either.Sound advice ,that.
