Help regarding car I bought on finance, that’s modified.

Yes very generic looking at it now.
Before viewing the car the finance company had already sent the funds, this wasn’t my wish, as I told them I’d rather wait until I viewed the car, so that added a bit of pressure too.
thanks for that advice, I’ll definitely look at the company house.0 -
Regardless of anything else, the OP needs to take that car back to the dealer 200 miles away, leave everything and the rejection letter and then get a bus home. Must be within 30 days, and most of those 30 days have already gone.
Then get the money back from the finance house.
Then buy a nice Honda Jazz, pipe and slippers. The OP does not have the mind-set for a boy-racer's car. Perhaps a mid-life crisis gone wrong

I would definitely hope it isn’t a midlife crisis at 26.Grumpy_chap said:Regardless of anything else, the OP needs to take that car back to the dealer 200 miles away, leave everything and the rejection letter and then get a bus home. a Honda jazz would be good fun
Yeah the 30 days is now over, good thing I raised the complaint with the dealer ship only 18 days after.0 -
What did you actually say to the dealer within the 30 days, did you specifically request it be repaired or mention rejection?Mikej92 said:

This just gets weirder - you claim to be a bike racer yet don't know enough about a Focus ST to research/check that the DPF hasn't been removed (and also the silencers ??)Mikej92 said:

As others have said the MOT isn't iffy/invalid if there's no visual sign of tampering so all the issues are down to your (lack of) due diligence and your signing of the disclaimer.
My suspicion is that your Finance company may step in and then they'll backtrack once they see what you've signed and heard both sides of the story1 -
I assure you there is absolutely nothing at all fun about a Honda Jazz - my Mum has one and they are absolutely dreadful. Even at the ripe old age of 82, she says it is more suited to older people than her. It is, apparently, more slow and boring than the bus!Mikej92 said:I would definitely hope it isn’t a midlife crisis at 26 lol. I’m a motorcycle racer in profession.

Even more surprised that a professional motorcycle racer would not know enough about what a car should / should not sound like to be reaching this point.0 -
I guess he's not very successful given this thread.Grumpy_chap said:

Have you actually mentioned rejection to the supplier yet? Or just to the financier?Mikej92 said:
