As you've been told, places aren't shut online, which is where you're going to sort this. Your finance company should be informed, trading standards etc.1

As explained in previous posts...it’s not roadworthy, I phoned my insurance to tell them, and they void it straight away, so I can not insure it legally.AdrianC said:
Umm, why is it uninsured, no MOT, no tax?Mikej92 said:
my cars now illegal, uninsured, no mot or tax.
it has no DPF, so the MOT is also invalid.
without those, you cannot tax.

You've already had the actual wording of the tester manual posted in the thread. Would the removal have been visible to the tester? Because post-2018 DPFectomies tend not to be. The exhaust is dropped, and the filter gutted and rewelded from above.Mikej92 said:
Okay, it has an illegal mot then.tedted said:mot is not invalid once issued cannot be voided
because it passed an mot the day I picked it up, with No DPF.
And, no, it's not necessarily unroadworthy.0 -
It’s illegal for me to be driving it on the road.AdrianC said:

Diesel particulate filters - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)tedted said:says who?It is an offence under the Road vehicles (construction and use) regulations (Regulation 61a(3)) to use a vehicle which has been modified in such a way that it no longer complies with the air pollutant emissions standards it was designed to meet. Removal of a DPF will almost invariably contravene these requirements, making the vehicle illegal for road use. The potential penalties for failing to comply with Regulation 61a are fines of up to £1,000 for a car or £2,500 for a light goods vehicle.
