Im too tight to pay for hifi bars @beanielou I have freddos if I need a hit
Lunch today is a chicken salad, it is chicken tikka pieces as the breast I usually get was out of stock at the weekend, rude.
Dinner tonight is Bolognese but I’m fair enjoying the kale and spring greens at the minute so that will feature too I’m sure. To jazz it up a bit tonight I’m going to grate the onion carrot and celery rather than chop just for a slightly different consistency to make a wee change. It may turn into chilli yet!

Afternoon all, another stray wandering back in after a few days away. Welcome back Beanie!
I don't feel like I've had a moment to get on here this past week or so, apologies for not posting. Work is still extremely busy, and I want to leave things reasonably well organised, with loose ends tied up before I leave in 3 weeks time. New job formalities are all completed, and I think I just need my DBS to come back now. Will be glad to be away from the drama here that's for sure, it just goes from bad to worse, to disaster!
Mealplans have been hit and miss over the past week, but trying to err on the side of better.
Today's plan:
B - porridge HEB with water, skinny syrup, cinnamon & dsp elmlea (2)
L - soup, if I can get the soup maker on quickly once I get home for lunch
D - Omelette with bacon, mushrooms, cheese HEA2, tomatoes
snack - banana & a FF strawberry yogurt (1) if I need it
Forgot to WI so I'm calling a STS and will be more focused I hope by the time next week comes around. I've been so tired lately too, but hoping this lovely spring weather wakes me up a bit more. One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home1 -
You weren't too far out coxy, 19.5 for a Costa Bakewell slice. 😉
Good to see you posting sary, 3 weeks and counting I'm sure😊. Will you be able to get home for lunch in your new job? 🤔
I've got just under 10 syns left for today so decided to do corned beef hash instead of the ham one I had planned. It really is full fat corned beef today and the last tin (I think). Next time I'm in Sainsbury's or Morrisons I'll buy some low fat.
Todays EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit, skinny syrup, banana (F), HEB porridge, HEA1 milk, raspberries (S)
L- veggie omelette (P,S) with ham (P) and pickles (S)
D- corned beef hash (P,S,F and HEA2) with cauli, broccoli and cabbage (S)
Syns- 3.5 corned beef, horseradish 12 -
Thanks maman - that's really good of you to check it for me. So 24.5 syns yesterday, 5 on Monday and only 3 today. I'm keeping syns in check more now that I've joined you on here. Think it was the odd 1 or 2 here and there that used to derail me.
I didn't have have bacon for lunch in the end, just the LM sausages, beans and egg.
Just been for a lunchtime dog walk with DD - it's such a lovely day here in Kent.
Hope you've all seen some sunshine too

Got a text from GP on Friday night calling me for my jab, had it on Monday evening. My God was I rough yesterday, I was so cold, actually had an electric heater on in my office along with the central heating, usually have the radiator at 2 just to take the cold out, but it was on full! Went to bed as soon as I got home from work and slept until this morning. Still not feeling great, but so much better than yesterday and not interested in food
Had a slice of toast yesterday morning and a banana today, not the greatest of diets, but at least it was something. May cook properly this evening, will see how I feel when I get home.
Did a 10 mile walk on Saturday, which was really nice, we ate on the hoof, I had made a lentil & cheese bake but the rest of the packed lunch was a bit synful! However, there wasn't much of anything and we walked it off so it could have been much worse.!A smile costs little but creates much2 -
Afternoon all
Thanks everyone for your support.
GTQ, hope you soon feel better, i hope i don't feel like that 😣 i had the message today, booked for 1pm tomorrow 😱
I also think hi fi's are expensive, i always used to buy 3 out the basket at WI to have after i had weighed 😋 but i wouldn't buy a box as they are dangerous for me, i like them and could eat a boxful 🤣
Another part of my plan is i have ordered a steps watch, see how many steps i do, i know it's not 1000's so i might see if i can get a walk in .
I'll be back later........oh well [possibly after zoom at 7 🙄😂

I suppose a watch is more convenient bubbs but my phone counts steps. I don't carry it around at home but always make a point of putting it in my pocket when we go out for a walk. I firmly believe that i's perfectly possible to lose weight without exercise but it does have lots of other benefits, not least getting out and getting some fresh air at the moment.

Thanks ruby & coxy.
I have a few eggs to use by tomorrow.

I actually prefer the Hifi to the Alpen or Aldi bars as they are softer. I’ve been getting them from Iceland but they don’t always have them in.
I’ve had a bad couple of weeks SW wise but have kept on track with my silver body magic. The stress of the decision has been made and the early retirement through ill heath has been started. I feel quite relieved and ready to get back on track....it is what it is 👍
Breakfast - heb toast 1/2 hea cheese and beans
dinner - salad, chicken and jacket potato 1/2 hea cheese
tea - ww wrap 5 1/2 syns steak, mushrooms, peppers and onions
