Just did a long post and it disappeared. ☹️

    Welcome back bubbs. 😁

My DH is feeling under the weather and is having a sleep so will make myself something easy for dinner.

Have been on plan all day and now enjoying weekend wine. 😁

    Thanks Maman

I have been on plan today, so hard to get food when you are out if not booked a table 🙄

Was so busy as well and some restaurants not opening even on 19th, they have notices in the window Sept!

Hope DH soon feels better, don't know if i said before we went Skeggy DH wasn't well , had to take samples and have loads of blood tests, well the doctor rang today he has to go hospital to see  gastrologist has too much bacteria in his gut 🤔 although he is ok now.

    Enjoy your wine

Thanks bubbs. That's interesting to know about the planning needed to eat out. Our first choice of pub on Wednesday put me off. You had a choice to book online or an automated phone call. They said a 2 hour wait so opted for a place where a real person answered the phone. We passed the first place on the way and they weren't busy so they lost out with poor customer service.

I noticed on Twitter that there's an unusual summer surge in Norivirus. DH was nauseaus yesterday and it wasn't my cooking! 🤣 It makes you wonder. 🤔

He's woken up and just fancied a cuppa and a biscuit. I finished off yesterday's hash with a couple of eggs and pickles. So, foodwise I've had a syn free day. But wine..... 🤣

If you are somewhere you don't know, you can't book up as you don't know whats there, even fish and chip shops had massive queues

ISWYM but when we're away (not been anywhere since November 2019 ☹️) I either used Trip Advisor for recommendations or walk in and book during the day for the evening if I fancy somewhere. It's a whole new world now.😷 Fancy having to queue for fish and chips.☹️

Morning all.  Welcome back bubbs.  Glad you enjoyed your holiday.  Sorry to hear  your DH needs to go to hospital.  Hope everything is ok and it's nothing serious.

maman hope your DH is feeling better today.  A sleep often helps when you feel unwell.

We're away in the motorhome until Monday so definitely high syns.  We're eating out tonight, not sure where yet as our friends are going to book it when they walk into town but it will probably be Indian.

We are going to a National Trust place this morning.  It's a place we haven't been before so hopefully that will be interesting.  It's about half hour away so we should be back for a late lunch of burger and onions.  Have bought the  SW wild garlic ones to try.

Our local fish and chip shop always has queues outside but they are good.  On the odd occasion when we have them we either do click and collect or get them delivered although I don't know if they will continue with deliveries now we getting back to normal as it was something they started during the lockdown when they could only do takeaways and deliveries.

    Morning all

Enjoy your break Denise and behave yourself this time, no mis-haps!

We are talking queues like when we had to at the SM, all down the paths , but saying that it was busy, a lot busier than we expected.

DH feels fine now and had no tummy trouble since the weekend after Skeggy 🤔 he just said i don't know if he said i have to have more bloods or just wait for appointment, it took him on the hop as wasn't expecting him to call as was 2 weeks ago he had bloods done, so assumed they were ok. I will ring Monday but they may not tell me?

Maman hope dh is still ok this morning

    Have a good day all

Thanks for asking. DH is feeling much better this morning and has eaten some breakfast so hopefully it was just a fleeting bug.

What a super weekend to be away denise. I'm really envious. Apparently most NT properties will not need booking from Monday. In a way I'm sorry about that as it was good to look around without crowds.

I'm going to make lasagne for dinner tonight as it's DH's favourite.  I'll use the 3 x HEA recipe (1 milk, 2 cheese between us) for sauce I did last time. As we had porridge this morning , I probably should add syns as unlikely to have enough HEAs left but will give us some leeway as just been to WI.

What are you having for tea tonight bubbs? Is it take away?

I was wondering with the Covid changes coming on Monday whether people think it's a good time to start a new thread. I'd have to ask the lovely beanie to do it as I don't really know how to transfer things and close them down. What about 'Lose Lockdown Lard with Slimming World?' 🤔

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash, skinny syrup, banana (F), HEB porridge, HEA1 milk, strawberries (S)
    L- veggie omelette (P,S) with beetroot (S)
    D- lasagne (P,S,F, HEA2) with salad (S) and maybe a small JP (F)
    Syns- cornflour 1, weekend wine😋

Yes Maman takeaway, 14 1/2 syns  so within syns, today i have had cheese spread (hexa) and ham egg wraps, i might put some BNS chips in acti so i don't get tempted by the ones dh will have

Then if i am hungry later will still have hexb i could use, as i did say last time i am still hungry 😂but i never had anything apart from my fruit and ice cream.

Tomorrow def won't be roast, we will have chicken salad.

Tesco have there cooked chickens from deli counter on CC price, think it's £2.55, good buy for hot cooked chicken
