    Hiya everyone
I’m back on the SW wagon- again :D
For the one millionth time :D slightly unusual as there’s nothing I’m actually aiming for. I put on a lot of weight in the first lockdown- I went up to 20.5 stone- then I managed to lose just over a stone and maintained that for about five or six weeks.
I joined the local group virtually- the consultant was fantastic but unfortunately he quit to spend more time with his family. His replacement didn’t seem too bothered either. My friend decided she was going back so I switched groups and we’re going to actual group now together.
I’ve actually been quite motivated. I’ve been trying really hard. It’s just nice to know I don’t have a deadline as such so I’m taking it as it comes.
I lost 7.5lbs last week in my first week- I had put on a bit, as I had been away in London and living on rubbish. I’m back down to the weight I had been maintaining (or I think I should be when I WI later)

    Tuesday’s food-
L: SW chicken korma, rice (1.5 Syns) salad. 2 x HEXB HiFi, banana, cup of coffee with HEXA
    Snack: Crisps (6.5) NAS cordial
T: SW wild garlic burgers, SW chips, tinned tomatoes. NAS cordial. Caramac Breakaway bar (5) 1 finger Twix (5.5)
    Syns: 18.5

    Wednesday’s plan:
B (after WI) 2 x HiFi (6), banana and water
L: SW Chinese banquet rice ready meal, veg, pear
T: SW sausages, eggs, mushrooms, peppers, onions. 1 finger Twix (5.5)
S: 4 x Ryvita (HEXB) 2 x HEA Laughing Cow, ham, cucumber. Bag of crisps (6.5)
    Syns: 18

    Night all xx

Morning all, it's a bit wet outside today although not raining at the moment.

Welcome back Mrs R.  I've had the same problem with my consultant leaving.  We had a substitute from another group (well 3 of them to cover 5 groups) but as it was all virtual I just sent my weight through but didn't bother with the Zoom meetings.  I changed groups recently and went to my first RL group last week and not particularly impressed with the consultant but I will keep going every few weeks (fitting around my holidays) just to keep access to the website.

Your menu plans are looking very SW friendly and that was a brilliant loss last week.  Good luck for this week.

Didn't get round to shopping yesterday and not looking likely that it'll get done today as we are helping my friend to move.  We're taking her and her dogs (and her sewing machine!) in our car to her new home.  Going to take up a fair chunk of the day as she lives on the outskirts of London and moving down to Kent, about an hour's drive from where we are but only about 15 miles as the crow flies!s

    Menu plan for today:

    B - breakfast hash topped with fried eggs - P; S; F
L - burger & onions in WM roll - HEB; S; 0.5 (this may change to a gammon & mustard sandwich depending on timings!)
D - Spanish chicken - P; S; F (although if we have the sandwich we'll have the burger with chips for dinner! and the chicken tomorrow night!)

    HEA - milk
HEB - wm roll or bread
    Syns - burger 0.5

    Have a good day everyone.

Morning all.  Good luck with helping your friend move denise, sounds like a long day ahead of you.  Welcome back Mrs R!  Well done on your big loss last week and fingers crossed it keeps coming off and I'm sure it will if you keep eating the way you are.  I'm sure maman is really pleased with the football result last night!  My DH is less so as he did some matched betting on the game and expected England to win 1-0, so no extra pennies for him.

Managed a total body strength workout last night and a run this morning, although it was only 3.5km as I was feeling really low on energy - star week is really taking it out of me recently.  Had usual yogurt, fruit and granola for breakfast, lunch is another ham salad and then we're having jacket potatoes for dinner tonight.  Will probably have the classic beans and cheese on mine but I know we have some tuna in so may go for that instead.

Hope everyone has a good day.

    Morning all and welcome @Mrs_Ryan

I had a good day food wise yesterday and adored being back to spin. It was so hot but I really enjoyed it! Knee was good too and fine this morning.

B – fruit and fibre ss milk

    L – tuna pasta salad

D – PON cheesy broccoli stuffed chicken with roasted veggies.

So with sw you can eat pasta, with calorie counting I have weighed 50g to have. There is so much conflicting information on what the calories of cooked pasta is I have gone with 133kcals per 100g and divided. Will hope for the best way that,. I am taking it as a win as I would definitely not usually weigh pasta and I would definitely eat more than that!

@klew356 go with the calories per dry pasta - it should be on the packaging of the pasta that you're using.  50g dry will be plenty once it's absorbed the water.  I did see something on IG talking about the calories in raw versus cooked food and they always suggested just going with the raw weight because it's just easier most of the time.

Thanks @ruby_eskimo it transpires, although I scoffed the lot that it is quite a lot cooked when you add the tuna and salady bits and bobs. Trial and error I think with that one.

Welcome back MrsR. Brilliant loss last week. You know it works!!😊

I was pleased for England last night ruby. I'd be happier if it was Wales or if England hadn't left one of my team's players out but we can't have everything! Good for you doing even more exercise.

Glad you managed spin without your knee playing up klew. I think you're doing brilliantly to stick to SW and calorie counting. Carbs are good in moderation as they fill you up. It's far better to fill yourself up with good meals than waste calories on snacks IMO.

I wonder how coxy is getting on with her walk...and her sister! 🤣

Hope your friend's move is going smoothly denise. We'd anticipated new neighbours this week as the house next door (other half of semi) has been refurbished and sold by developers. This morning though we saw an agent showing different people round. It could be they couldn't get past the stamp duty deadline or maybe just changed their minds. 🤔

We had a good walk this morning and called into Sainsbury's while we were out. Bought some strawberries for tomorrow's breakfast as I like to take advantage of the English season. Also got some YS BNS chunks. I'll add some to tonight's mash as they taste good, make the mash lovely and smooth and I like the orange colour! 😊 I had the same lunch today as yesterday, partly because I wanted to use up the cottage cheese but also enjoying the JPs for a change. I bought a bag of baking potatoes this week as lately the normal bags have been full of small ones.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), HEB toast, HEA milk, 2 fried eggs (P)
    L- JP (F), veggie chilli (P,S), cottage cheese (P, pickles (S)
D- liver (P), mash (F,S), onions, cauli, broccoli, cabbages (S)
    Syns- gravy 2?

A good day's food bubbs. Was that LO chicken or another one? 🤔

I've been a bit short of LOs for lunches this week. Plenty for tomorrow though. I love having bubble and squeak when we have mash. 😋
