Back from the new group - it's nothing like my old group; there seemed to be quite a bit of negativity from some of the members but the consultant tried to gee them up. Think I'm glad I'm not going to be going every week. My next time will be the end of July as otherwise I would need to go after a few days after being away in the motorhome!
I think I'd probably lost about 0.5lb since I came back from holiday but meant I was still lb heavier than I was before I went away - but I'm still in target so I'm OK with that. Just need to try and lose over the next few weeks to try and get back to actually target or even better into bottom end before my holiday in September!
Today's plan:
B - overnight oats - HEB; S; F
L - cheese salad - HEA2; S
D - toad in the hole, roast potatoes, carrots, peppers & onions, green veg - 6.5
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB - oats
Syns - 25g flour 4.5; 2 low fat sausages 2; couple of rum & ginger beer 5
Have a good day everyone.

Hi everyone,
Sorry didn't post yesterday - woke up at 4.22! Throat was bad due to hayfever, so had a tablet and some water and went back to bed. Had a few appointments yesterday - haircut and dentist check up. Went to the garden centre for some plants - gutted I won't get to see them bloom all summer, but will give DH something to look at lol! Really sleepy yesterday - had nap mid-afternoon and went to bed early. Think it's the relief of stopping work and now finally being able to concentrate on the walk.
Today I have been to BW shopping mall to use up a voucher (it will expire whilst I'm away). Got two nice tops in N£xt. Then went to Co$tco over the water. OMG queue was down the side and around two sides of the car park. Given I had to pay the toll to get there I stood in line - took about 30 minutes to actually get inside the store. I stocked up on meat for the freezer, loo roll, kitchen roll, OJ etc. Card is in my name so no chance of DH getting there until I'm back in September.
Food today is:
B - WM toast and 2 tsp blackcurrant jam - HEB and 1 syn
L - ham, cous cous, pickles, 2 mini babybel - 1 syn HEA1
D - chilli con carne and rice
Snacks - kiwi x 2
Syns - 2 plus will be drinking tonight as we are seeing friends. I am taking prosecco but will switch to rum n pepsi max after one glass

Hope you're feeling better now coxy; it's horrible when you don't sleep well.
Enjoy your evening with friends and enjoy the Prosecco and rum & Pepsi max! I tend to stick with my rum and ginger beer as I find it very difficult to just have one or two glasses of wine!

Enjoy your evening coxy. I'm sure your friends will want to wish you well as we do on here. 😁
You've done brilliantly to have a holiday and stay in target range denise. 👏👏👏
I'm going to have wine syns tonight. I probably shouldn't after my visit to the pub on Wednesday but it's turned into a glorious evening here and I'm in a happy mood. I've been dancing this afternoon so got a bit of Body Magic in. My clothes fit and I'll deal with any gains when I have to.
Today's EE plan -
B- NAS grapefruit squash, baked beans (F), bacon, fried egg (P), HEB toast, HEA1 milk
L- mackerel in mustard sauce (P), salad bits (S)
D- Fake KFC (P), SW chips (F), creamy cabbage with HEA 2 cheese, green stuff, mushrooms, tomatoes (S)
Syns - weekend wine 🍷😋1 -
Thank you maman. Where do you get the mackerel in mustard sauce? I used to buy that in France but haven't seen it here (although must admit to not having looked recently!).
Enjoy your weekend wine!

What bargains did you get today bubbs? 🤔
Sainsburys often sell Princes mackerel in mustard sauce on offer at £1. It's a cheap way of having healthy oily fish and syn free. 😁 I try to have this most weeks or tinned sardines.1 -
Thank you both. Will have to have a look as not had any fish recently which is unusual as we always used to have fish on Fridays! Can't stand sardines unfortunately maman although DH likes them. Have to admit most of my oily fish comes from salmon - either baked or smoked!
