Morning all. Loads of posts since I last managed to get on and read so sorry if I miss anything I would normally comment on.
Food looks good as usual bubbs. The weather has been unbelievable so far, I usually manage to pick fairly good weeks weather wise! We’ll be on our way home next Thursday when you’re off to the coast so hopefully it will still be sunny and warm for your trip to the coast. We changed our plans at the weekend as decided we didn’t really fancy the site we’d booked for that week so are staying here an extra 3 nights. This will give me an extra few days to get back on plan properly and try and lose the weight I’ve put on before having to weigh again!1 -
Just tried to edit my post to finish it after accidentally posting before it was done and then lost it. So annoying.
coxy good luck with the walk and with spending 60+ days with your sister - rather you than me!
milann I’m sure you will be fine going it alone with the help of this thread. Just keep doing what you’ve been doing and carry on posting on here. We can help with syn values if you need them.
Sorry if I’ve missed anything I would usually comment on.1 -
Morning all! Glad to hear you're having a good time denise. I'm sure you'll be fine milann, everyone here has been really supportive, it's better than being at group 😊
Woke up with a bit of a fuzzy head this morning which I think is due to the humidity here so already on to my second litre of water and it's just gone 9am. BBQ burgers last night was a nice mid week treat even if it took a while for DH to set the BBQ up properly 🙄 Had usual yogurt, fruit and granola for breakfast today, lunch will be chicken salad and dinner is salmon with the rest of the green veg leftover from Tuesday (courgette, green beans, peas and broccoli).
Hope you all have a good day.Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -
Good to hear from you denise. Where are you now? I seem to remember you were going around Lincolnshire way. I only know the Stamford area but SIL told me that Louth 🤔 was good. We've been to a NT property this morning to see the rose collection so got some BM in.
I've been waking up feeling dehydrated too. I always start with a huge glass of squash but have been having water too and 3 mugs of tea as well. That's just at breakfast! 😊
Soup before salad can be good klew. It helps to fill you up. I like doing a medley of green stuff too ruby. It helps to make veg more interesting.
DH said how much he's missed having lasagne recently. It's not like him to ask for anything in particular so I'll put some on the menu. Last time we had it, I found I could make it fairly low syn by using the HEAs and just cornflour (no extra fat). It worked really well. I've only got 1 portion of Bolognese left too so I need to batch cook some of that.
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), HEB toast, scrambled eggs (P), HEA1 milk
L- LO hash (P,F,S), beetroot (S) fried egg (P)
D- SW Bolognese (P,S), spaghetti (F), HEA2 Parmesan
Syns- 0

We are currently in Norfolk in a small village called Denver. It’s near Downham Market which is where we’ve been today to get some shopping. Absolutely fantastic butchers there and have bought the meat we will need for the week. Planning on going back next Wednesday to buy some meat to take home with us including wild rabbit! Not been able to get any recently and makes a great casserole dish with lots of veg so that will end up on next month’s menu plan.
Weather not been as bright here today. It’s been a bit overcast with the sun coming out from time to time. Been quite warm even when not brilliant sunshine.
Going to get some BM in tomorrow as playing 9 holes on the local golf course which is about a 5 minute walk away. Will be visiting the micro brewery after. Will probably have a G&T while DH has a beer.

Incorporating a homemade cheese scone into the plan today that my nice neighbour gave me last night, too good to miss out on haha
B – fruit and fibre ss milk
L – chicken and sweetcorn soup and cheese scone
D – baked potato cheese and tuna salad
Going to try and be good this weekend as I want to stay on plan and make a good weigh in next week. Only problem is it is my dads birthday and we are having a Chinese tomorrow night, extra good the rest of the time !

Morning everyone,
Weigh day for me and I've put on again... combination of TOTM/less running, anniversary dinner, and generally feeling anxious/low has meant I've been eating naughty stuff like chocolate. The evening meals have been on plan - some news ones* too as ex-consultant was selling off her stock of SW recipe books.
We are out for lunch tomorrow as it's DMums birthday. Haven't seen her much during lockdown (you will remember she is anti-vax) so will be taking her to a local to her restaurant where it's all outdoor seating (didn't know this when I booked so hoping for sun). Have looked at the menu and there are chicken skewers so these could be a possibility.
Did a 5k run this morning in 32:30 - weather muggy and warm here.
denise - glad you are enjoying your time away. You have obviously met my sister
Food today:
B - grapes, strawberries
L - poached eggs, grilled bacon, mushrooms, HEB wm toast
D - mozzarella and chilli pasta bake* - HEA for low fat mozzarella
HEXA2 - skimmed milk
Have a good day everyone,
Coxy

Afternoon all. Just popping in quickly before the weekend. Apparently I got bitten by some insect on my walk last night so no run for me today as my leg is not very happy! Had the usual ff yogurt, fruit and granola for breakfast, a tuna salad again for lunch and dinner will be bolognese because we haven't had it in a while and I found some mince in the freezer.
No plans really for the weekend so far but will probably end up seeing a friend or two in the garden. Hope you all have a good weekend.Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20172
