New Year, New Start?? - Slimming World Support Thread

We knew it was going to be raining today so had decided we'd just stay the one night after going to shop we wanted to go to.  The town is about an hour away so it's quite nice to be able to park up and stay the night and have a few glasses of wine rather than just going in the car and driving back the same day.

Worked out the syns for lunch and it's 3.5 so not too bad.  I already need to do damage limitation for the rest of the week after the wine syns and pastry yesterday!

I forgot to tell you yesterday , i got the best bargain EVER on a give it away page i got a Samsung galaxy tablet 😁😁😁, trying to sync it with lappy is another story 😂 dh is on the case 👍

Also my friend messaged me this morning and i didn't see the message was gutted, she was at the company shop and they had NO7 serum for 20p!! it's £25 in Boots, she wound me up and said she didn't get it, but soon as she googled it and saw the price got me some and didn't wait for me to answer  😇😇 she said before the vultures swept in and cleared the shelf 😂

I'm so envious of that Company Shop bubbs. It's bad enough with the food bargains but I'd love to have that serum. I've used it before, Perfect and Protect. I just bought some of my Clarins favourite at £78!!  Tablet is an amazing bargain too. I'm sure you'll get it sorted. 

It started off wet here today too but seems to have blown itself out, wind is howling. Not very springlike at all.

Maman it def wasn't there last week as i scan the shelves. It's actually called early defence low activation serum
Yes chuffed to bits with the tablet, DH has more patience than me and will spend all day on the case , as nothing beats him 😂

WI with 1lb loss 🤗 still very stressful here so happy with that. Hubby has started on steroids so hopefully will see some improvement, even staying awake longer will be something 🥴. His boss rang to say everyone is back on 17th May but will keep him furloughed as long as possible as sick pay is crap 🤗. Hopefully give us time to get some end result treatment even if it’s dialysis.

That's good of DH's boss TIE, think they can furlough till Sept if i remember correctly? Hope the steriods help, strange though as he wasn't ill before , didn't it just happen or was he?

I'm making lasagne for tonight's dinner. DH loves it and after my success😇 last night I have plenty of spare syns. I'll need my second HEA of cheese and then syn cornflour and as much milk  as I need for the sauce. So max would be 6 syns for 300 ml  milk and 1 syn of cornflour but that's far too much for half a lasagne. I'll measure as I go and see how it works out. 🤔

Today's EE plan- 
B- NAS grapefruit squash, baked beans (F), bacon, egg (P), HEB toast, HEA1 milk
L- JP (F), cottage cheese (P), pickles and spring onions (S)
D- lasagne (P,F,S), with salad (S)
Syns- cheese sauce tbc, weekend wine! 😁

Well done maman in avoiding the wine syns last night!

Glad your DH is being kept on furlough for as long as possible TIE.  Hopefully things will improve for him by then.  Take care of yourself too.

Maman, no they are very good, my sister would go mental if they did that!

The main thing today is DON'T DROP the pizza, or anything else for that matter 🤣🤣
